the return. the results. the standby.

thank you is two simple words that go such a great distance. they can save you. they can heal you. they can bless you. and this week. they have been said alot. as for my aunt, she is better. not great. not healed. but better. she came home this friday and was ready to kiss the floor. then she said if she did, she wasnt sure if she could get back up. i'm giggling at that. what a dear she is to me. as for the results, they all came back negative. but yet in all honesty besides no more heart pains, she still feels pretty bad at times and was still unable to go to church this morning. so will keep praying and continue the antibiotics so they can do there tricks. i cant tell you how sweet it was to come home or well actually wake up to all your most heartfelt and appreciated comments. while in the hospital carolyn was showered with friendly visits from lovely friends. thank you for coming. leah, the 2 liter coke bottle made her night. and the mcdreamy card made mine. to bad it wasnt mcsteamy or edward. amber, the chocolate no longer exists so that tells you it was much appreciated. since friday of our return home we have been spoiled by FANTASTIC dinners from ladies/friends of our church. kristy, i need the recipe to that chicken. we gave if four stars. and last but not least in anyway, thank you jenny b. for coming straightway on wednesday and banging on my front door to wake me up and be my personal venting listener.

so at the end of this week, i say thank you. at the end of every day i say thank you. as for now, i'm fine. we're fine. again, this blog means so so so much to me. so for this week, i'm back. march has some pretty dang exciting stuff coming up. thank you again to all you lovelys.
for you truly are, lovely.

Family Emergency

Dear Friends, Family & Most Lovely blogging Friends,
For the rest of this week, and upcoming weekend, I'll be once again taking a break from blogging. As I write this, it's almost 5 am in the morning my time and i have just spent most of the night and day of yesterday in the ER. I have no clue where to begin and even at this early hour, I'm wide awake. My emotions have been a roller coaster and till this is over, I find that I am holding my breath.

My Aunt Carolyn, whom I live with, means more to me then anything on this earth was admitted to the hospital late last night with the suspicion of a mild heart attack. And possible head trauma. I will not go into the details because i do not want those things on my blog. There private.

For my family which I'm sure you've already been called, Carolyn and I ask for any question answers to come from directly me. Please do not go by family gossip.

As for my friends who know me in the reals, I ask that you please not call me on my cell phone for I will spend most of my time at the hospital, and I can only receive texting service within the walls.

If I seem to come off sharp, please take in note the early hour and my emotions and pardon me on this. This is very hard on me. More then you know. It will almost be two years that I loss ed my mother at the very same hospital do to an unexpected ER visit without in warning just like this. So you can only imagine what it's like to step back into that nightmare again, not knowing what the outcome is. My Aunt Carolyn, even though I have LOTS of family, She is my last mama. My mama number two, and its my greatest fear everyday of the unexpected. I continue to plead for Faith and I'm so thankful for having such wonderful friends. As for rest, keeping my aunt in your prayers would greatly be accepted and sustain me. She is the most humble self giving person I've ever known.

If I don't make it to comment this week, please understand. This blog means so much to me and your comments always brighten my day.

Thank You for your outstanding friendship and I'll be seeing you all again. I just need sometime.

~Tierra

For Heather & My first Award

Tonight, I was totally going to blog about some random boring hum drum thing but as I logged on tonight, I received the nicest thing EVER. My FIRST bloggy award! Now, I'm not about to go tooting my own horn here. Instead I want to totally toot, whoop and holla for some one very dear to me. I received my award from a fellow Utah sista from anotha mista, Heather.

I've known Heather for a few years now and I met her when she came out to visit her BFF Leah who just happens to be one of my BFFs. We met and through her visits, and now her blog, we have become so much closer. So Heather, this is for you!

{Please EXCUSE this picture of myself...I was slightly sick and yah...um no enlarging this pic, but for Heather I would do anything and I just happen to actually like this pic of us. The stud in my arms is Leah's little bubba, Noah--I heart Him--wink}

Today she celebrated her 100th post and instead of what I did "writing a letter to my getting lame, slow mover future hubby" or talked about her self as others have done...

She showed her true heart and self by giving awards to others. That right there, if you've never met her, all you need to know or understand is through that sincerely kind act. Putting or Sharing with others first before herself, is Heather. I love you Gal!

Thank You again for my first bloggy award.
I wouldn't have wanted it from anyone else! So Heather, even though on your 100th post you asked that we do the same and share the bloggy award to others...I decided to talk about YOU!
I figured, some of our new bloggy friends needed to be highlighted on why I, and so many, LOVE you dearie!

First, up...Oh and i totally didn't get your permission to use these pics-SORRY!!!--I hope to be forgiven--Cherie, you totally didn't just read that LOL Anywho, that picture right there shows what a great marriage Heather has. I Love hearing the stories of her & Kurt!

Did you know the woman can decorate a cake like no otha? I'm tellin ya, Heather has some skills with her magic decorator tips! For sure. To see more of her cakes, check her blog often, and she always post new cakes but to give you a "taste" see this post Here.

Just when I was already WAY impressed, I saw this on one of her post. When ever some one really close to her has a birthday, she draws them a picture! Check this out. She did this for her sister and I was in just awe.

But, the thing I love, admire, and respect the most is her love for her daughter and her whole giving to being a mother. That little redhead is one lucky little lady for having Heather as her mother.

Heather, Thank you for being my friend. And Thank you for sharing your 100th post to others.My circle of sisters in Heaven would not be a circle without You.

:: Happy 100th Post Heather ::

Valentine Embarrassment Round 2

Well, Ladies, Gals, & Darlins another Valentines Day has come and gone. And yes…Another Valentines Reckless stupidity adventure came to your dear sweet Tierra.
Only this time, this year,
I was so FREAKIN happy to have not been on a date.
I sincerely hope I have not jinxed myself. Next year, if I’m in a relationship…. ladies, remind me to just stay home with the stud and save my poor embarrassed soul from further V-Day escapades.
I’m sure your all wondering...
“Well what in the world happened?”
Oh… only pure embarrassment to my poor single soul. That’s all.

To begin with, you might want to check out my story of last years Valentines Day.
See here-V-Day Embarrassment Story # 1
If you just want a small recap, it’s goes like this. Last year. The Big V-day. Made cupcakes. Then. Outside Movie theater. Very cold. Locks keys in car. Was not happy. End of Story.

So, now let’s recap of this year 2009 V-Day Embarrassment. To begin with I was determined to get my nails painted Red. Why? Well, I’m a girl. A single girl at that and by golly, I was going to do something cute for myself come hill or high water. I get myself all dressed cute at home, and head to the nail salon. After a freakin two hour wait---yes ladies, I was VERY determined---and chatter from a Chinese lady who can’t speak a word of English, I finally got my nails painted.
They turned out quite cute if I do say so myself.

To all Single Gentlemen passing through, notice NO ring on thee left hand?In the words of Beyonce
if you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it”

I met up with my wonderful wonderful wonderful aunt Carolyn and my stud--nephew-- and great gal friend Jenny B. and headed out to Dinner at Applebees. Lucky us we only had to wait about 20 minutes. Wonderful fantastic meal. Thanks Aunt Carolyn! That great lady bought me a steak with shrimp. Couldn’t have been better. Well, along with a card and $$---you already know people, I’m spoiled----> moving on

As stated earlier, I had fixed myself right nice if I do say so and I was in some awesome heels--Carrie if they look familiar …hehe…they were yours and NO you cant have them back Haha!---I was defiantly strutton my stuff.

Jenny & I had decided to go see the movie “Confessions of a ShopAHolic” ---Loved it!!!--- But, we knew we had better wait to go to the late show after the “couple” crowd died down a bit at the theater so we wasted some time at the mall.

Here it goes ladies…feel free to start laughing anytime. I give you my permission.

As said, I was strutton my stuff in the sweet heels well actually wedges confidently. Then Right in the middle of the mall and main CD store, I was holding my nephews hand and walking when are foots caught and I, Tierra Lynne Coleman took one KILLER head dive in the middle of the freakin teenage crowded mall and fell hard in a VERY VERY non lady like way in front of the CD store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

{LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL}
Okay ladies, are you done yet??? No?
{LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL}

So there you have it folks…2009 V-Day Embarrassed Escapades. As for the rest of the night, Jenny kept my keys to make sure last year was not a repeat and I highly enjoyed the movie and laughed so hard.
If you want a feel good, clean chic flick that will make you laugh so hard, go see Confessions of a ShopAholic and laugh at her.
Lata.

Dear Future Hubby: A Love Letter

Dear Future Hubby,
{Its late afternoon. My front door is open and the sun has just start to slowly set and its low in the sky. The rays are shining so brightly through my living room door, that I can see the dust shimmer in its setting. As I pause around my dining room French doors, I can see your shadow start across the floor and I pause to just take it in.

As I get to the door, your there, standing devilishly handsome and you smell of a quick shower with a touch of cologne. You smile, and the look upon your face, is the look of someone who fully sees me.

With a large bouquet of pink roses, you whisper…“I can’t believe this is all you asked for.” You take my hand. And it’s off to Dinner. Just a simple dinner at my favorite restaurant. It’s all about the moments of just talking and holding my hand with a promise of not to laugh or get bored through the chic flick you’ve just promised to sit through.
At the ticket line with your slight tease of “I can’t believe were seeing this” I say “You’ll LOVE it” with a very girlish mocking laugh. I’m in heels of course and I’m pausing to think “I’m finally that girl at the movies with her guy in line, looking old Hollywood couple great”

As the movie goes with a few roll of the eyes from you and my sighs of awe throughout the movie, its bliss.

To the end of the night you remember about the card you’ve got tucked in your jacket and take me to my favorite park. The moon is out and it’s lighting up the sky. We walk and for one soft moment love comes so peacefully, it means everything that it’s finally in its place. Knowing that cards mean the world to me, you pull it out with saying” ..And you thought I forgot…” It simple states, I’m here and I love you.”}

So, Dear future Hubby I want you to know….I’m here. Am I sad for today of not having that perfect moment? Sure. But what will this day hold? He’s in the form a sweet six yr. old little boy. He has my heart.

Then it’s in the eyes of a mothers love from my dear sweet aunt Carolyn.

The night will be surrounded by laughter of girlfriends who are always there. Love comes in so many ways to so many people. I just hope that someday…maybe soon…Love will come ….from you.

Valentines Decor 2009

As promised, here are my simple, small but totally me Valentines Decor. For some reason, I have never been one of those single gloomy girls who cant stand Valentines. I have always enjoyed it. Single or not. Maybe it's the colors or the excuse to get MORE chocolate and get pink roses BUT...BUT...BUT.... this year...I admit it Ladies...its getting to me {head is hung in embarrassment} I know, "HOPE" my time will come. I *promise* I still, will be kickin the day up in my red high heels and I have an appointment to get my nails painted Dark Red. I choose to still have a fun day that day and share it with the ones I love the most. My family and my own personal stud, my nephew. So with that let me share with you my Decor of the ever so humble Crib of mine. Along with some of my FAVORITE love quotes {Did you know I collect quotes?}

"Love Sought is Good, But givn Unsought is better."
-Twelfth Night, Shakespeare

In the living room, I had the idea to make a banner. To my standards, not as good as I could have made it, if had the time, but I thought this was cute. Thanx Good Old Martha! States "Simply Love" to hang from my fireplace.

For the dining room table, I had bought these gorgeous frames from TJ macks and I knew I wanted old romantic "Kiss" pictures for Valentines Day to be displayed. Along with the awesome "diva" damask runner sewn by little me-with MAJOR help from Amber F., Love ya--Then I found these really cute red sparkly hearts and I knew I wanted three-Ann three-jars to display, with the hearts to hang down from. The jars are filled with the love to our souls, Chocolate!

"What a Woman really wants is a man with a wicked look in his eye for her and her alone. From the first moment he See's her, to the last. No matter how long that maybe."

-Anonymous & my personal favorite ! <3>

Here are the pictures up close that are in my picture frames.

For the kitchen, I was doing some late random shopping at the ever so wonderful Target and stumbled upon there adorable, girlie, cupcake cuteness things and I just had to have them in everything! I ADORE the color difference. Plus, those boxes gave me another excuse to buy more chocolate for hands reach LOL

Oh, and I'm a SUCKER for anything "towel" cuteness for every holiday...if you haven't notice.

"For as the sun is daily new and old, So is my love still telling what is told."

-Shakespeare. Love sonnet 76

Thank You all for all your comments & new friendships. Tune in tomorrow for my much planned post on the Eve of Valentines. As you can see, I'm sorta a Shakespeare, old Hollywood romantic with a to much passion for anything damask. Have a lovely Thursday, I'm off to spend the day at my nephews school for his kindergarten Valentines Party. The true stud muffin of my heart.

Signs of Explanation

Ladies, I'm ashamed of myself. Completely and utterly ashamed for being silent since my last post. I have tryed and tryed to post. I'll sit down, come up with something to post and then 10 mintues later I hit delete. Why? Notice sign number 1. I have PMS!!! !! !!! And I'm not afraid to admit this or share this for the matter. Oh Mr. Future Hubby man be glad your not around. One minute I'm not sure. Next I'm mad and then Sunday I was a basket case of tears! All the time seeking chocolate. I tell ya, who ever found that stuff and presented it to the world... You ROCK my life and make me purrr like a kitten. LOVE you! Are you single? Oh, wait your probably dead. My bad.

Then sign number two. I have been so overwhelmed lately and plus with PMS and the "just cant make up your mind" I have done NOT a THING to my house. I'm surprised the health department hasnt came in and taken over! Really ladies I do try. I love to clean and organize....When I in the mood for it. And cleaning products...Oh how I love them and they love me. So please, PLEASE pardon me in mylack of posting So I can get my house clean and get back to life after PMS. I promise I have something good up my sleeve for Friday. I shall return on Thursday though to reveal Valentines Decor. I will post it if its the last thing I do. Honestly ladies, I just cant make up my mind on what to post. Plus, this past week I endured a nasty dreadful cold. And the only note worthy news to report is I went bra shopping last week. Wa-HOO for the Boobs! Oh how they were screaming at me for a good new bra. So, I endured the trip to the mall and made them happy. That is all. That was interesting right?
Okay, so the plan...Clean to my hearts content and then I'll be back on Thursday with V-day decor. Chow!

PS. New Song----> Check it out and grove to it! All last week this was what was singing to me in my head...."if you wanna rock, you rock. If you wanna roll ya roll..." LOVE it!

million little elements

we all have a million little elements. what we post. only really shows a few. how do we see our selves. as for me. tonight. procrastination is the game. laundry. cleaning. nope. my souls needing. the fray. love the fray. outside. it's cold. my thoughts. i am a daughter of god. i am a friend. my heart. deep. feelings. slightly yucky. reason. has a cold. yearning. the spring. desire. shopping. friends. their beautiful. comments. you give and you take. blogging. release. this post. a statement. i am who i am. faithful. reader. nostalgic. daughter. friend. simple. overweight. honest. talkative. religious. thinker. singer. worrier. soulful.passionate. sensitive. auntie. serious. sarcastic. positive. generous. disappoint. vulnerable. romantic. trying. dreamer. changer. grateful. prissy. disorganized. family. everything. real.

i am many things. we all are. our blogs. we post only elements. blog for who you are. the elements you want shown.hater comments. ignorance. why. not your life. nothing good to say. nothing to say at all. feelings get hurt. words are powerful. words can hurt. cant be taken back.moments rush. moments move. we all have million little elements. these are just some of mine. and. tonight. its the fray. this is all. and. this is me. million little elements.

In an interview, Isaac Slade from the Fray expressed his meaning behind the lyrics of the song:
"You Found Me" is a tough song for me. Its about the disappointment, the heart ache, the let down that comes with life. Sometimes you’re let down, sometimes you’re the one who lets someone else down. It gets hard to know who you can trust, who you can count on. This song came out of a tough time, and I’m still right in the thick of it. There’s some difficult circumstances my family and friends have been going through over the past year or so and can be overwhelming. It wears on me. It demands so much of my faith to keep believing, keep hoping in the unseen. Sometimes the tunnel has a light at the end, but usually they just look black as night. This song is about that feeling, and the hope that I still have, buried deep in my chest.

Tagging By Sevens

Tag, I'm it. This week I was tagged by a new friend Debi
{who has a great blog, go here Debi, Tagging by Sevens}
I'm listing 7 things you might not know about me. Thanks for the Tag Debi!

1. Even Numbers. I CANNOT stand for things to not be even. It doesn't matter what it is, I've always preferred for it to be even. Even when I dream of my wedding date, I would prefer for it to be in an even year number.

2. Playing the Piano. I'm one of those girls who's a sucker for guys who play the piano and I long to play it myself. As I have been in/out of music lessons, I never could get the hang of reading sheet music. All those women back in the 1800's were taught to play as part of there accomplished meants...{sigh} I guess this means I would have failed in society. LOL

3. Want a picture Frame? Alright, yes, I've posted this for the world to see. This is my HUGE collection of pictures frames. So you've found me out. Addicted to cute picture frames. Hi, my name is Tierra and I have a problem.--Step 1.

4. If you ever see me, I will ALWAYS have earrings on. I'm not a huge necklace kinda gal but any type of cute earrings or simple, sliver, gold, pearl, studs...I buy them. Right now, I WAY into the whole safari print. NOT to the extreme but classy. i just bought them and I LOVE them..Oh Jenny B. -- picked you up a pair!

5. Bulk & quantity cleaning supplies. I have this fear of running out and so I always add to my storage when I'm at Wally World--Wal-Mart--

6. Socks. I LOVE cute printed styled socks! I have some for every holiday and add to it each year. I guess you could call this a sock fetish. I wouldn't dare show you my sock drawer, Why? You'd be jealous that's why...nah, just kidding..it's a mess!

7. Diana & the royal family. Okay...lame...well to me not so lame but to you all probably. I'm a "in the closet" freak for ANYTHING about the royal family, it's history, and Princess Diana. Oh, if only I could marry Prince Harry and become his Duchess. You don't know how many day dreams I have. <------ Oh, dear. Did I just admit that? Well, fine...Yes It's true. Me & my mom would always watch any biography or look back on royal history or Princess Diana life on TV and she would tell me stories of the morning she woke up at 4 am to watch the wedding. I was so jealous!
I have all kinds of books, magazines, movies, now If I could just get a great T-shirt???

Don't worry. No tagging by me this time but Thanks again Debi for the great & fun tag!
Everyone have a great weekend and I'll be back Monday.

It's just soOo me by saying "I aint Missing you" As for the kiss in the rain, comes from my favorite TV couple from One Tree Hill, Nathan & Haley..OOooooOooH NEVER has there been a GREATER kiss in the rain TV moment then the kissed they shared. IT melted me and the song playing in the back ground for that moment of kissing in the rain was Missing you -Tyler Hilton. I cried, it was so sweet!
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. It just always gets me up and singing it in the shower, kitchen, and car at the top of my lungs!!!

So here is a little video made about Nathan & Haley playing to my favorite song. The kiss comes in about 2:26

Or if you just wanna hear the song see here, though I say check out that kiss..As for me alas, never a kiss in the rain. But, I have made out in the movie theater. {gasp} Scandelous...

Tender Mercies

First and foremost, I just want to say a very sincere Thank You to all the comments from new friends to vintaged friends. I love you all. Before I announce the winners, let me just add my 2 cents on what went down this weekend. When I first started the wheels to turn in my little head, I wanted this to be fun. NOT, to make anyone get mad or offended because I asked for comments from silent friends to silent snoopers who don't comment. As I have received comments from new commenter's, I was just overwhelmed at the sweet remarks and the thoughts of finding my blog worth reading. Thank You.

I have learned this weekend that this blog is 100% me. You can take it or leave it. If you don't want to comment for what ever reason you have but still continue to follow me, I still am so thankful for your time and viewing. Thank you for finding me worth the follow. Again, I meant NO offense to the "calling out the snoopers." There were so many, many moments this weekend where I wanted to just pull the plug and stop this whole thing. Wishing that I had never posted my last post. But, now...At the end of this Sunday day, A day that had so much meaning for me. I learned that the most important things in this life were days like today. Where going up on stage today at church and singing with my fellow sisters in Relief Society my favorite hymn. We sang "Come Thou Font of Every Blessing." My VERY, down to the heart & soul, favorite hymn. As I stood among so many women who I have the pleasure of someday sitting in heaven with after this life is over, I was over whelmed by the spirit of what this life and it's tender mercies are all about and yes, I cried. There love and voices were all around me and I Just couldn't hold the paper steady because it was truly chilling and beautiful. I shall never forget that moment of being surrounded by the sweetest and purest sound amongst the organ and piano arrangement together, to my favorite hymn. It taught me a great lesson, that life is meant to live, to learn, and to sing. Sing for the moments you have. Sing for the moments you wish for. And sing for the love that surrounds you no matter what.

"Come thou font of Every Blessing, Tune my heart to sing thy grace."

"Praise the mount; I'm fixed upon it; Mount of thy redeeming love."

"Here's my heart, O take and seal it; Seal it for thy courts Above."

Commenting & A Give Away

The Blogging Block. Comments. Feedback. Snoopers.
Over the last week I have been giving this a lot of thought. This very conversation has been many a phone call between my friend Ann and myself. She has asked the question on her blog, see here Ann, Old Fashioned Girl how much blogging is to much blogging? Blog everyday? Every other day? Then comes the question of comments. Feedback. And the “I know their looking, so how come no comments?”

For me, Lovely readers…This is how I feel.
I first started blogging after I lost my mother and wanted to let my mothers friends & my family know, that I would be okay. Then I discovered that blogging became an outlet for my humor. My release. In a way my “therapy” to just put myself out there and what I enjoy and love in this life.

At first, I had many a post with ZERO comments. It didn’t matter, I just moved on to what ever topic I wanted to talk about. And Heaven Knows, Tierra can Talk!
Before I knew it, I started getting more fellow friends to blog and other pages to go and snoop through.
Through this blog, I have met some amazing women and continue to do so.
Sometimes I have NO idea if I entertain you but yet I feel so tremendously humble that you follow a silly single gal with a flare for humor, boys, fashion and all things random & Twilight.

Busy Bee Lauren did a fantastic job of giving her thoughts on commenting by a cookie analogy.

To read her whole post, go here Busy Bee Lauren -Blogging
To me, I love getting the comments for the Feed back and to see whose reading.

It’s like gift giving.

I love to blog and I try VERY hard to make it entertaining and to express what I’m going through in this life. Sometime taking up 3 hours per post. So, say each post is like a gift. I take time and effort to pick it out, wrap it up with a pretty little bow and then present it to you. Then…Well? Did you like it? Not like?
Everyone, please scroll WAY down to the bottom of the page.

You should see two counting meters.
Do you know what this means? {Drum roll please}
It means, I can Seeeeee Youuuuu!
So Please, don’t be shy!
More then ever, don’t be shy!

One of my dearest best friends Leah
{who has a Fabulous blog, see here Wampler World}
Gave it another great thought that it’s like I’ve invited you into my living room.

{Nope, this not my living room...I wish}
You’re a guest that’s very welcomed but yet, your not speaking and were just sitting there.
All I ask in return is for your feedback. Because who wants to be sitting in their living room with no one to talk to? Well, unless you have Edward to read about but then that’s whole other story LOL

Are you still reading and with me?
emember how I just said more then EVER you need not to be silent?
In honor of my gift analogy I’m doing my first Gift Give Away.
So to you snoopers, silent or not, anonymous, to shy, not sure and all in between, this is what you need to do.
I have two prizes to give away and two ways you could win one of them.
but, before we go there lets recap. I gift/post. You feedback. Union of Bliss. Thats not to hard is it? And remember, I can SEEEE YOUUUU!
Now, on to the give aways. See below post.
