Update

Hey All. I'm Alive.

I'm going to be completely honest and say that right now, my blog is my LEAST thing to do on my "to do" list.

I have so much work. I have so many things to plan for church events. And I have so much other stuff I'd rather be doing then sitting at my computer desk for hours to update this thing.

I have issues with how my blog is received. I have issues with comments.

So for now, no posting. Oh sure, there's lots to show. Lots to say but frankly, I just don't feel like it! Plus, I don't have a computer right now thanks to a little thing called a computer crash and I'm waiting for it to be fixed.

When I come back in a month or two....No comments at all. I did this for a while, and I loved it! I want a fresh start with a fresh new look and with any luck, a fresh new attitude towards blogging.

Nie

Do you read Nie? I read Nie.
And you know what, I think you should read Nie too.
The Nie Nie Dialogues is a blog by Stephanie Nielson. Hence, Nie Nie. I love her color for all, her outlook as a mother and now, her passion for life.

A note to the Blog

Dear lovely blog, blogging buddies, friends, family, snoopers, etc etc...As I sit and right this, I'm sighing *oh Woe is me* sighs. Nothin bad going on but I feel like I'm in a blogging rutt. A funk. A weird state of *I just cant make up my mind* state. I come up with something really fun to blog about and then sit down to post it and then in like 2 seconds *BOOM* the magics gone. Gone...Gone...Gone..like a bad NSYNC song * bye, bye, bye*
I just lose that lovin feelin. The blog lovin feeling that is. Oh what to do? What to do, I say? I feel like I'm boring. Am I boring? WAIT....don't answer that. But, I am. I know it. I wouldn't pass my blog myself these days if I was the one surfing the blogging block.
I brought commenting back and I VOW not to get into a comment overload. So, I guess the only thing to report is that now that the comments are back up, please feel free to comment but if I don't comment on your post it doesn't mean i didn't read it. I truly read as many blog posts as I can get too. I just have alot on my plate right now and comments are on the back burner. Hate me for it? Oh please don't. I know the whole comment for comment rule but if I get 1 comment or 50...I still might not be able to comment to everything. And that needs to be an okay thing. For my stress of mind in bringing back comments please understand.
Now, as for the blogging rutt. I just don't know where to start. I hope my blog entertains you and I hope you feel welcomed into my little world of random loveliness BUT for now, will just have to see. Auvoir loveys. I'm off to go give my self a blogging shot in the butt {not really} to kick it into gear.T.

Im Alive.

Somewhere in my Memory I was supposed to have done a "celebrate" 200th post.
Welp, that didn't happen.
Blame it one the rain I've endured.
Blame it on late night book reading.
Blame it on looking at photos of Rob Pattinson online.
Blame it on TONS of Bridal showers plans X 2.
Or simply
Blame it on the fact that I just didn't get around to doing it.
Alas, so here we are.
Did anyone get as tired of seeing my summer post below as much as I did?
Oh wait, you can't answer that. Duh Tierra!

So about that no comment thing.
I closed the poll early and the result was...
Yes! I need a Voice.(21%)
If your ready. (57%)
Nope. I like this "No pressure" (21%)

So, am I ready for comments back?
Not at this time. And really, to be honest it's not that I'm "not ready" its simply,
I am loving this no pressure thing.
Do I miss hearing from you?
ABSOLUTELY but to be honest, I'm enjoying the no pressure of having to comment back. You see, I've seen others say how hard it is to get to everyone who has commented and that's how it was for me. Right now, I just don't have the time to sit at the computer comenting away.
Do I still make it to your blogs?
When I see that it has an update. If you don't have a follow button then I'm really sorry but I rarely get there everyday.
Do I comment to everyone?
I still comment but not to every post or everyone. I comment if I have the time. Or I see something that I would like for you to know.
Does this mean I find your blog less appealing?
NO! NO! NO! Not at all! Every ones blog is first...there own. You can blog about as much or little as you like and I enjoy seeing the diversity.

Now, here's where Tierra puts a firm foot down
about this blog of mine and I Do this in a VERY non mean way. I DO NOT want to offend anyone in the least but...It has come to my attention that I have some lurkers who have linked my blog to their blog without my permission .
In other words **send me an email and kindly please introduce yourself and ask**
Really, I don't mind! REALLY.
But, please... this is my personal blog, I have pictures here of my nephew/family and it really creeps me out that you have me listed on your sidebar and you haven't asked.
A silent email will do just fine.

This is NOT for followers. THIS is NOT for blog fame.
This is simply me asking you to let me know.
Going Private is not the plan, But if I have too...I will.

Phew! Glad that's said. Hopefully I will celebrate hitting the 200th soon. Even though this is tech. 200th LOL
Happy 200th to me, right?
Whoo-hoo! To celebrate, I'll go eat a brownie and watch something really sappy.
Why don't you do the same? I mean come one, it's the 200th!
Chow.

Will I still be posting?

Oh. Yes! As I have looked at some of the comments on my Mom's, I felt like some were saying that they have enjoyed my posting. Well, the post are still going to flow! I have some really cute ones i want to do So let me clarify. I WILL STILL BE POSTING.
Just no comment button.
That is all.
I want to get back to just enjoying posting for just posting. I will miss sincerely all the lovely good comments from dear friends and wonderful blogging friends. But, at least for the summer...No comments. I just want to post. No pressure of the commenting block. So, I shall still be here and all things lovely. Starting with a New fresh post Next Monday. Until then, I'm embracing this new liberty and I'm LOVING it.

Shakespeare "The Rest is Silence"

{This picture is of the old train station thats just 3 minutes from my home. Everytime I pass it at night, and it's all lit up...I think about the 1940s and wartime. And all those men & women that had to say goodbye. After the train left... The rest was Silence.}

Dear Readers & Friends,
This week, I have been doing a lot of thinking. When I first started this blog, it was purely for a release. A way for me to let my life go on and to remember it by. So, as the months passed and more friends and comments started to come my way, it was like a rush. A happy rush like when you see you've got mail except "You've got Comments". We all know we love comments. You know you do, and I fully admit this.

So, here comes the rain. You start to put your heart and soul into posting. Sometimes sitting hours at the computer uploading pictures. For me, life was spent WAY to much time blogging then a life of living. And with that, they say to get more comments you have to comment back. It becomes addicting, let me tell ya. I admit this.

Now, have you ever noticed how you get more comments on something really random and fun but not the real inner you post that you want people to really see? If you answer no then well...good luck with that. If you answer yes, then you see where this is going. Hopefully.

So dear readers...I'm pulling the comment button for a month or two. I'm not going to be leaving commenting up. For how long? I don't really know. Maybe this is just from the mood I'm in or Maybe its been the rain we've had all week but for along time now...the comment cycle can be a rewarding one but yet addictive one. Does this mean, I wont be commenting to you? No. I will support my friends and comment away. But for me, I don't want you to feel like this blog is up just for the "blog fame" of it. Or that I am a commenter for comments. I shall still be around. But for now, maybe a month...maybe a few weeks, No comments on this blog. This past week, Feelings were hurt and the comments just to get comments thing does not sit with me. The whole blog fame of it doesn't matter. Blogging and commenting should be for fun. To uplift. To comment for the right reason not just so you can receive a comment back on your blog. So with this, I bid my commenting for my blog a bittersweet farewell.

As for the rest, I want to get back to why I started this blog in the first place. The thrill of posting just for fun and for family friends to have a peek. So, please continue if you like, as a silent snooper...You have my permission.

As for the rest...as Shakespeare said..." the rest is Silence"

Tender Mercies

First and foremost, I just want to say a very sincere Thank You to all the comments from new friends to vintaged friends. I love you all. Before I announce the winners, let me just add my 2 cents on what went down this weekend. When I first started the wheels to turn in my little head, I wanted this to be fun. NOT, to make anyone get mad or offended because I asked for comments from silent friends to silent snoopers who don't comment. As I have received comments from new commenter's, I was just overwhelmed at the sweet remarks and the thoughts of finding my blog worth reading. Thank You.

I have learned this weekend that this blog is 100% me. You can take it or leave it. If you don't want to comment for what ever reason you have but still continue to follow me, I still am so thankful for your time and viewing. Thank you for finding me worth the follow. Again, I meant NO offense to the "calling out the snoopers." There were so many, many moments this weekend where I wanted to just pull the plug and stop this whole thing. Wishing that I had never posted my last post. But, now...At the end of this Sunday day, A day that had so much meaning for me. I learned that the most important things in this life were days like today. Where going up on stage today at church and singing with my fellow sisters in Relief Society my favorite hymn. We sang "Come Thou Font of Every Blessing." My VERY, down to the heart & soul, favorite hymn. As I stood among so many women who I have the pleasure of someday sitting in heaven with after this life is over, I was over whelmed by the spirit of what this life and it's tender mercies are all about and yes, I cried. There love and voices were all around me and I Just couldn't hold the paper steady because it was truly chilling and beautiful. I shall never forget that moment of being surrounded by the sweetest and purest sound amongst the organ and piano arrangement together, to my favorite hymn. It taught me a great lesson, that life is meant to live, to learn, and to sing. Sing for the moments you have. Sing for the moments you wish for. And sing for the love that surrounds you no matter what.

"Come thou font of Every Blessing, Tune my heart to sing thy grace."

"Praise the mount; I'm fixed upon it; Mount of thy redeeming love."

"Here's my heart, O take and seal it; Seal it for thy courts Above."
