This Thursday will be a very bittersweet day for me. If my mom was still alive, it would have been her 56th birthday. I cannot portray or put enough emotion into this post to come close of showing you all how much I wish....WISH... my mother was still here.
So, in honor of her & her birthday, I'm doing a giveaway. Now, let me clarify that this is not for comments. If I get just five comments, then just five will be from whom I choose. Any and all comments will be wel-come though. If you haven't de-lurked yourself and would like to that's great! ! ! If not and just want to silently watch, great too. This is strictly in honor of my moms day.

My favorite post is the Dancing? Deverl!! post. That was one of the first posts I ever read about you and I laughed so hard. I know just from reading your blog how much you miss and long for your mother and I am so grateful that you have the knowledge of the Gospel to ease the pain a bit.
I can tell you as a mother of grown children that she would be so proud of you. You are such a neat person with wonderful qualities and a gift for friendship and love.
I am not going to be in your drawing because there are others you know much better who have been reading your blog longer but I just wanted you to know that you are really wonderful and your mom knows it, and Heavenly Father knows it and is aware of your needs, and all your friend know it too.

I just barely met you, and haven't read many of your posts, so I'll have to do alittle snooping around. I feel like we've known each other longer though. We have so much in common. Don't worry. I don't enter contests cause I never win, but I'll be reading up on some of your past posts to get to know you better.
And the tribute to your mom. I can only imagine your 'bittersweet' feelings. I can't wait to see what your tribute is tomorrow. How can anyone choose? You have some funny posts, some gross posts, some bittersweet ones, some ranting ones...the list goes on and on. Well, Tierra, my vote goes to "Being Thankful" from last November.
And also, after looking back, my fave is the Halloween craft with the cute pictures you captured of my kids.
