B.L.E.S.S.E.D

This Friday will be just another average day for me but yet it will mark a very BIG milestone in my life. My mother, passed away on May 2nd 2007 and so this Friday will mark the 1 year Death date. As I look back on this year, I see a young girl who went from having the breath knocked out of her on that "numb" day to a Young woman whose made it through her first year w/ more blessings then she could ask for.

With that said, this post is about the “unsung hero's” that have helped move me along in this first year without my mama. This is about the girlfriends that were there ASAP when they first heard the news. The cousins that were always by my side. This has been a “first” year of a many a blessed moments.
So this is my Thank You to everyone.

First up, the ~ GiRlIeS ~
Meet the wonderful women I'm so stinkin blessed to have as girlfriends. These ladies were there the moment they had heard the news. Throughout this year, they have been my constant source of phone calls, shopping splurges, laughter, and good ol' gossip!

Christy, Jenny, & Arie
These three have been w/ me as long as I can remember and each day they show support & love NO MATTER WHAT I'm crying about. Jen, you were there on the scene first and from the moment I made that phone call, I knew you would be there in an instant...And you were and the nights to come. I've always said that your my soul to soul best friend and you are. A million times over Jenneroo! Christy, you make my life so complete as my sister from anotha mister LOL an through it all, you do what you do best...Listen... and that my dear girl means the most.
Arie is my best friend who has been w/ me since sun beans and even though she's serving a mission right now, I have always felt the strength of Aries prayers during this year even though we apart. The last thing I said to Arie before she left was that, It always goes back to just me & her.

Leah. Looking at this picture that I chose of her in her wedding dress--- simply takes my breath away. Leah I look back on that first night at home and you coming the moment you got off of work and you asked me "What can I do" and I'm not sure if I ever told you this but by you being there, was what I needed you to do. Even though you had tons of wedding plans to do, you were there every day those first 4 nights. Leah has a favorite quote she always writes on things and so to her, it's the best way to sum up back to her How I feel as well..."You brighten my life, Like a million stars shinning Brightly"

Cori Ann. This is a woman whom if you haven't had the pleasure to meet then your life truly hasn't been touched. She was able to go and help w/ something I wasn't able to do my self and for that, we are sisters in life forever.

Jessi.
Jessi has a beautiful little girl who she calls her little ball of fire and so for Jessi...I say the same. This girl really is like a ball of fire and it's simply stunning to watch. She is always willing to do anything for you and be there with you and I miss her dreadfully--She had the dumb mistake of moving 5 hrs away {no.. I have not forgiven you on that LOL} Jessi you must know what a HUGE comfort your friendship is too me and through out this first year, you have always been there and I love you dearly.

Ashlee--You and your parents simply put Tierra to NO words when you surprised me w/ your trip that day to come to the funeral. Ashlee is a girl w/ such a Strong confidence that I'm always impressed. I miss ya girl and wish you weren't so far way! Thank you for such amazing support this year and that wonderful beach trip that made last summer one of the best "life to move on moments" in my first year.

Mary. Throughout everything I hold Mary as like a sister-in-law and there are no words enough to let her know what I would do without her or how much I truly love her.

~These next four important ladies our family. My dear cousins. I want to take this moment to let every one know that these ladies lost someone too. During that whole funeral process I kept thinking "why is every one looking at just me??" Yes I was the daughter BUT what I wanted so badly to come across was that there were others who just lost someone important to. Their Aunt. Having those memories of seeing there faces at the hospital that day will forever be in my mind and the heartbreak that I felt for them is just as painful. My mom was very very very important to them and so I want it known that these girls loss was just as horrible as mine. I know tons of people were telling me that they were truly sorry and not a one was forgotten, But I wonder, Did anyone say there sorry to them? So To them --In picture order---Melaine, Alexa, Hailey, & Carrie....I'm truly sorry to you all, for your loss as well. My mother loved you all so dearly and loved having the pleasure of being you aunt.

There are SO MANY more girlfriends I want to make knowledge of but I couldn't find a picture that I had to post. So to Erin Cooper, Kirstie Sensky, Stacy Harris, Kristy Wood, Cheri Hayden. And so many more I know I'm forgetting....You are loved...All of you for showing so much friendship beyond measure of blessings. Thank You!

ER Visit

Well, it's never a dull moment when it comes to my family in Hospitals! The second picture is the ACTUAL picture of my work place BUT it's also the place where I've spent A LOT of time off the job!

Today was "sorta" a nerve racking day and it started to begin with my poor sweetie Aunt Carolyn waking me up at 6:30 am announcing that she had a HUGE headache and was starting to throw up! She had been out of her blood pressure medicine SO when we went to the
"not so cool" Wal-Mart last night, the Pharmacy closed within seconds of us getting there which = NO MEDICINE! ! !

So from 7am to about 9am the poor dear was in alot of pain and after calling every pharmacy in the Tri-City area, No one was open or could help us get the medicine refilled.

As you all know, I've been through this lane before and just decided we were going to the ER. To not make you wait any longer, my sweetie Aunt is OK! Other wise Tierra would not be blogging.

BUT to no avail we were there from 9:30am to about 3:00pm just waiting around for the test results that were taken as soon as we got there to get back! So much for "fast" modern technology! The only really bad thing about the day is that they put my aunt Carolyn in the room right beside the room where my mother past away in and my mothers death anniversary is this Friday, so it was like i was right back almost to the day in the same spot...Tierra was not happy AT ALL BUT I'm happy to report that this visit has a better ending. She's doing well, resting and all test results came back normal. We will be refilling that prescription ASAP tomorrow! A BIG BIG HUGE Thank You to my family for the fast showing up act at the hospital and being there with me.... and to Sister Lindsey, our Visiting Teacher who brought us a huge fabulous dinner and cake tonight that will do us well into tomorrow!

And finally, a NOT so Thank you to my NOT so wonderful work for making me still come into work today...
{Tierra is sticking her tong out to you ! ! ! ! !} ! ! !

It's Hair DYE EveryOne!

Wow! Two in one day--This is impressive by my standards! As you already know my Dear sweet little stinker of a best friend Jenny--"Jenneroo" as I call her--Is getting married. She came over after work today so we could further continue the endless wedding plans. We went out to dinner at my uncles restaurant---Have I've ever mentioned my Uncle opened a Restaurant???---Anywho, we were having a wonderful dinner when the little stinker announces that she DESPERATELY needs her hair re-dyed! This weekend her and Justin are having their Engagement Pictures taken, so after dinner, off we go to wonderful Wal-Mart. Jenny just love the Camera so we thought we would document our experience--Don't worry folks, I'm an expert at hair dying from a box, I've been Jenneroo's personal hair dyer for years! Yep, I'm a Pro!
So let the good times roll...

Nice & Easy Clairol-Can't go wrong There~
Alright, here is the moment where I was mixing the dye and the bottle slipped alittle and the dye was falling toward my mother's prize dining room table! As you can see Tierra was freaking out just alittle and yelling "GET...A...PAPER...TOWEL...!!!"
Jenneroo "Before" Picture
WOW...Look at those ROOTS! And the lovely scooby doo band-aid LOL

Jenneroo "After" Picture--Her hair actually went alittle darker then the box color,OOPS!
Jenneroo = Stunning Hair! Take that Nice & Easy hair models!

Barn Yard Fun

This is just a VERY random post that's really pointless BUT I just couldn't resist showing off this impressive cake and cupcakes that were made for my nephew's classroom party tomorrow.

They've been learning about barnyard animals and such, So Mary--his mother--Found this lady who made this 3D cake and the MOST ADORABLE cupcakes I've ever seen! So take a look--My favorite is the little lamb cupcake and the cake smells WAY too good! I have to REALLY try an be a good girl and not get into it till tomorrow!

April Update

Well, a few days have gone by and I really want to make sure I keep this thing updated with actual life events besides Tierra's random finds and what nots. So, for my life update, here goes.

First, my granny is in the Abingdon hospital : ( and so for the past two weeks I've try'ed to make sure that I go an visit her as much as I can ---despite stupid Gas prices---Because I of all people know that tomorrow holds NO promises. I am TRULY ENDLESSLY blessed to be imparted to a family whom on both sides, have had such wonderful, strong, and sweet ladies to call my grandmothers.

Jenny's wedding plans and MOSTLY bridal shower details are all that consumes my mind. The stupid Martha Stewart side of me has to always make sure that the least little detail is to my liking. I've just been one of those girls that goes to wedding receptions an picks out all the good & bad points and stores them in my brain for future references. So probably my next blog will be about Bridal shower details. I'm putting ALOT of work into this so I hope everything will go great for Jen.

As for my aunt Carolyn, she received a calling in church to be a primary teacher for the children age 10. She's really enjoying it and puts alot of effort each week for her lessons. Also a funny side note--Carolyn has become advanced into the 2008 computer world and has learned how to download music onto her MP3 player and now I can NEVER get her off!!!! She just can't believe that something so small could hold so many songs forever! Then I told her how much my IPOD holds and her eyes just about popped out!

Work is still work. Some days I really have no problem going into work--happy to work w/ my co-workers AND then other days I'm like ......AWWWW!!!! SHOOT ME NOW!!!!!.......LOL

I have came to the conclusion that poor little Tierra will never when the battle of keeping a house clean, Laundry done{folded and hung up} and go to work at the same time. It just can't be done. So if your ever wondering what Tierra is doing after work it's either A) Strolling through the mall--with Laundry to be done at home---B) Blogging or Facebook---with laundry to be done-- OR C) Actually doing Laundry and cursing it as I go along : )

So there you have folks. Again nothing new or exciting ---well in my opinion anything I find "new "on TWILIGHT is exciting LOL--Work. Sleep. Blog. Facebook. Phone Chats. Shopping. "Some" House work. Wedding details for Jen--to bad there not mine LOL--. Church. Twilight. Reading. That's all that really goes on in my world.

Cookies Anyone?

Something you should all know about Tierra is that, Poor "little" Tierra can NEVER resist a Chocolate Chip Cookie. Never. In fact, I just loved to go to the dances in church growing up because always on the refreshment table would be a batch of home made choc. chip cookies. And then I would smile : ) YUM! Plus, the boys there wasn't bad either LOL! I'm not really a cake person unless it's wedding cake, which is always out of this world BUT to me life is about the simple pleasure of baking cookies in your kitchen and singing along to your IPOD. I was blog stalking last night and I came across a VERY delicious cookie recipe that I just couldn't pass up! So, for my very first "recipe" blog I have chosen my favorite type of chocolate chip cookie and HIGHLY recommend it! It's SOoOoO easy, and ooh so good. This is the kind of recipe that has so much Fat stuff in it that you just know it's gonna be good.

~ The Famous Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies ~
2 cups of flour-all purpose
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of light brown sugar
1 tsp of Baking soda
1 tsp of Salt
1/2 cup of Crisco
1/2 cup of butter {one stick}
2 Eggs
2 cups of oatmeal
1 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

Now, here's the thing. Add all the ingredients from top to bottom but hold on the oats and chips until everything is all mixed. Bake at 375 ' for 10-11 minutes and then WOW your tasting the most sinful rich cookie that your soul just fell in love with! I tried to be really precise and Martha Stewart and took pictures, So hope you enjoy & happy baking!

Are you Ready for some Baseball??

First, I just love that you guys are reading my blog. It just makes me giddy to get comments! But, before I go on, this may sound strange But it really bothers me that I'm posting this above my Twilight post--one of my fav's! I sincerely think I might need therapy on this one and I EXPECT everyone to go see the movie when it comes out but I would be MORE thrilled if you read the books. So for those of you who read my blog and love Twilight just as much as I do---Even If I don't know you, We all stalk other people blogs-- Anyway, Look below for my Twilight post which just makes me grin from Ear to Ear and I've watched the clips over and over and made my family watch them as well.........Moving On.....So today is Saturday and my favorite person in the whole entire world--- Had his First baseball, T-Ball game! I'm So proud!! My nephew Angelus is without a doubt the hottest Stud on the team. I know this is gonna sound really sappy and some may not believe--I couldn't believe it myself---But, I cried! I have always said that the best cure for "life to move on" is to have "life to move one moments" and Today was one of them. My mom would have been soOoOo proud and so for that, I cried for the both of us! Angelus is growing up so fast and everyday all i hear is " I can do it myself". To be five yrs. old, he's already past 4 ft. tall {only 9 inches from me} So of course, I was there inside the filled w/ camera in hand! Their the Braves, and my heart belongs to # 8! ---Eight is the Great! So, for your enjoyment, my pictures of the Kid who ACTUALLY got the ball in the air twice---No lie, I have a whole family to back me up that was there to prove it! As always, enjoy & Let's... PlAY BALL! ! ! ~

Rocks my World!

I'm soOoOoOoOoOoOoO Super SUPER super SUPER ExCiTeD! As everyone in my family all ready know {Carrie and Hailey stop rolling your eyes!} My whole life has been turned up side down by the Book Twilight! If you have no clue on what Twilight is about I suggest you hit the first two sites up on my stalking avenue, Because you will know by December 12th of this year--movie release! Their turning the book into a movie which is filming now and i think almost complete and hopefully the rest of the books in the Twilight series will follow as movies too! The fourth and final book will be out in August and YES my life really and truly is on pause till then. I have never been one to really get into anything that would put me into sorta a "groupie" category--Well, there was NSYNC BUT that was different. I mean first there was the Lord of the Rings book serious/ movies uproar....Then came Harry Potter...and Heaven forbid we forget Star Wars But I, Tierra Lynne Coleman, 22 yrs old of sound, mind, and body have never been hooked on any of the book series/turned into movies....
Until now! I take back every stupid joke or comment I made to my cousin Lee on all the star wars books he buys or the movies or whatever else he can get his hands on cause Heaven help us if Tierra misses anything related to this book. I'll stop now cause I really could go on forever {you think i might be joking but I'm not} So here for your enlightenment I have provided the first release tapes made for television on my favorite love story that replaced Pride & Prejudice hands down! Enjoy!

Miss Alexa Pants

Today is my younger cousin Alexa's Birthday! She's the big 21! WOOT WOOT !! Alexa is in Georgia right now { :( } Embarrassing story on Alexa that everyone knows in my family is that my dear genius of a cousin had a HUGE crush on this one guy in our Ward when she was 13--I think--Anyway, when it was his birthday she decided to light 16 matches one at a time and blow them out in honor of his birthday. Well, when it came to the last match, she blew it out and then stuck it too her nose and said "Ow-That's Hot" DUHHH Alexa! LOL ....SO we as her lovely family NEVER let her live that one down! Other then that I miss Alexa alot! {YOU NEED TO COME HOME ....tear ! ! ! } Things you should know about Alexa is she's very giving and kind. She always calls me every other Sunday or so and we have a nice chat about family gossip! She's always there when you need her and then my favorite thing is that she can make the BEST Kentucky Derby Pie EVER!!! This thing is loaded w/ choc. chips and is to die for!! We miss you lots Miss Alexa Pants and wish you a very Happy 21 Birthday!

If ya can't tell, Alexa's the one w/ the red cap! LOL

This is her boyfriend Shane who stole her away from us to Georgia! Shane NOT COOL! --Oh and he never smiles in pictures!!!
