All the good things...

When I saw this, It made my day so much better. Every now and then I'll watch it again just to lift me up. To prove and show that there is still so much good in this world. Still beautiful moments with beautiful faces. Oh to see and believe as a child does.

thoughts, thoughts, and to much thinking

Tonight, I have a million things running through my mind. Which, A. is a bad thing. Which, B. is annoying as heck. Which, C. is a REALLY bad thing. I'm coming to Utah in just a little bit shy of two weeks. I honestly do not know if it's the right thing to do. I mean at least the first week, I'll be there for my friends wedding and I wouldnt miss it for the world but really...the second week? I just don't know. People have been saying it's nerves and worrying about flying. SO not true. I love to travel and I have been on dozens of trips without a single family member around and that's just not it. The flying part, Are you kidding me? I can't wait to fly! Now that's exciting. ---So small town girl right?--I just can't put my finger on it but I just don't have a good feeling about this. Not really a bad feeling. But not a great one either. I just keep thinking of all the other things I could be doing/using my money with. Things I really should be using it for. Like School. A car. Anywho, the ticket's bought and that's that. And if I hear one more time "maybe you'll meet someone"...I'm going to say a really bad word (maybe a few) that i'm sure my bishop wouldnt want me to be saying or my mother for that matter.
Speaking of my mother, this Sunday will mark the third year. Three blasted whole years since I heard her voice. That's all I'm gonna say about that. Then when I switch to something Else, I think about children. A husband. My own home. And what/where will I be at in the next 5 years of my life. Now, I forewarn you all DO NOT blow up my inbox of notes that my time will come. I have a right to my own pity party every now and then, when it comes to matters of the heart. Or lack there of, I should say. Then there are friends. At 24 turning 25 in November I have finally started to realize that you just can't charm them all. As in, not everybody is going to like you. Or you like them. I've come to see those who I want to be my friend and those I do not. In this world, were all trying. Trying for life. Happiness. And if you can't be my friend and except the good and the bad both ways, then I have no need for you to string me along. I am who I am. I'm still learning. Still trying. And if you can't or don't like the way I am, them I don't want you in my life either. I'm truly seeing my friends for who and what they are.... that's for sure.
Oh. It's midnight. The trash needs to be taken out and then off to bed and my book I'm reading.
Knowing me, I'll just end up thinking some more....Don't you just wish we had an off button sometimes?

SVU... and The Baseball Stud

A few weeks ago, I mentioned how my family and I went to visit my cousin Skyler who plays for the SVU college baseball team. Did I mention how beautiful the school is? It was an amazing sunny day and all day long we just sat and watched baseball. Bliss (Not to mention but me and a girl-friend I brought along stared at my cousin's hot & single baseball coach and his buns the whole day LOL) ...I mean I watched the game.....Ahem. Anywho, meet my studly SINGLE cousin Skyler. He's an outstanding baseball player.

To Live in that Era....

This suddenly jumped into my shopping cart tonight at Target.
Hmmm...I wonder who would have done that? Oh well. I love them for it anyway.
Have you seen it yet? No? Well you should. So says little ol' me. It's not only sweet but it's beautiful to watch. The costumes. The Palaces. I would give anything to speak with a British accent. Sigh.
Tonight, I'm off to clean my kitchen and then retire with this. Thanks again to whom ever it was that placed this in my shopping cart. XOXOXO

Easter Portraits & Holiday

After we came back from the beach, Angelus (my nephew) was on his spring break and came back up with us to spend the week an the Easter Holiday. So, I of course bribed the handsome fellow for some picture time (even though he hated every minute of it and proclaimed it a HORRIBLE day the entire time)...I know, I'm such the mean auntie LOL I think it's HILAR that the kid can take great pictures even in a bad mood LOL We had a charming week with the most beautiful Sunshine the whole way through. The night before Easter we colored eggs and grilled out steaks. During dinner we were then given the dreaded loaded question by Angelus....."Is the Easter Bunny Real?" .....Oh boy, we didnt see that coming and thankfully his Dad (who came up for the holiday) handled that question as I squirmed out of the room LOL

Let the Color In

Spring is Here! Oh, can one soul be so giddy? Yes. Yes, it truly can and it's me!
This weekend, I was able to go and spend the weekend at SVU (Southern Virginia University) and watch my cousin Skyler play for their baseball team. For those who may not know, SVU is a small University set in a Gorgeous old Victorian mansion, ran by Latter Day Saint members.
It upholds and places each student to retain church values and strive for hard work and dedication in all things. Saturday was just pure magical in it's simple simplicities of the sun shining, the nostalgia of watching a baseball game and the crisp, cool breezes of the birth of Spring. Not to mention but watching cute baseball buns on those baseball players was an extra plus (wink) Oh how I just love that my cousin is on the baseball team and that his coach....is cute & single (giggles). Pictures to come soon when I decide to float back down to earth from being miss lazy mazy in the Spring giddiness.

...You're Lucky Enough

"If your lucky enough to be Irish, You're lucky Enough"
I've always liked that little saying and I'm sayin it today!

Last night on the phone with my nephew, I asked if he new what today was going to be. I heard him silently name the past two days and go..."It's a Wednesday." I said yes, but it's also St. Patricks Day and you MUST wear green.
He then pointed out that it was still....a Wednesday LOL
The little smart stinker. Made me Laugh!

Happy Irish luck to you!

Beyond Stunning

Kristen Stewart, YOU my dear know how to pick a dress.
Simply everything an Oscar dress should look like. You look radiant.
The only thing that good have made me love you even more from your walk down the Oscar walk,
was if Rob was there with you.

Pictured Like This {Christmas 2009}

I know. I know. I know. It's March. Yep. I get that. But, remember I'm tryin to catch my blog up on all pictures of big things from the end of last year. So. Here you go loveys. This is my house throughout the Christmas Holiday season. We started off at the beginning of December a little shaken because Lee and Angelus moved away. So, for the complete shock to us all, we bought a real Christmas tree to help us get in a better mood for Christmas. It. Was. So. Pretty & Full. And...I didn't kill it! LOL We had a great Holiday with them coming home for Christmas but I have to say, I was glad when it was over.
Enjoy the pics!

For my Christmas gift this year to all my girl cousins, I had this printing company combine all our family favorite recipes in a cookbook with pictures. Along with a recipe box, cards, and a large white bowl that had matched the bowl from the cover of the recipe book.
