Ask and I Answer

Would you like to know the exact date of your death? Why or why not?
Wow! What A “what the freak?” question! I’m going to be honest and say Yes/No. Yes, I would like to know when my times up. Why? Time’s too precious. And I hate surprises. No, because I get nervous when something different is coming up that’s out of the norm. for me. So I couldn’t imagine knowing it and trying to get things done fast enough. Talk about panic attack 101

What are three "nevers" in your life?
Never liked cats. Never been in Love. Never owned Louis Vutton purse :(

If you could wake up tomorrow having required a new skill or trait what would it be?
That my hair is dead sexy every morning with no styling involved! That would be awesome don’t you think?

What book made you cry the most and why?
Believe it or not but never cried on a book. I think…though New Moon gave me a heart attack. Though come to think of it, I ALMOST cried at the End of Breaking Dawn because it was over!

Describe a memorable or funny experience you had on a date.
My whole dating life is a funny laugh out joke. Does that count?

If you could go back to any period in time and witness one event what would it be?
Oh tough one! Well….titanic has always fascinated me and for some reason I would have loved to have been on that boat or during the JFK years. I would have SO copied Jackie O and her style.

What do you think is the greatest invention to come along in your lifetime? Why is it important to you?
Greatest invention in my lifetime would be the Internet. That’s so dorky to say but it’s true. Think about…pretty much any info {all good} is at the reach of how fast your fingers can type.

What do you want that you don't have?
Are we talking material or Life wise? Material, ok probably a Dark Red 2009 Jetta. Life wise…A Family of my own.

If you had the chance to repeat one year of your life would you? When would it be and why?
Yes I would and repeat all of 2008. Why? Because it rocked.

What is a motto you live by? Explain.
I honestly don’t have a life motto. I’m the kind of girl who is a bit skeptical at things and so with that, I don’t make yearly plans or resolutions or life mottos because if I didn’t fulfill them I would feel REALLY bad and down on myself. I take things day by day and moments to look forward to. And just do the best that I can do.

How do you feel about questions like these?
I answered them didn’t I? No, really though I did this because it was a different set of questions then your normal “what’s your favorite color?” questions
I like thinking at odd questions. There intriguing and I’m nosy. Perfect match!

Wedding Reception

Over the span of the last two year my months filled up with lot's wedding receptions to attend. Sometimes I wonder if my boss thinks I'm just lie-ing to get a day off! Hah! What a joke, my memory box is full of wedding invitations and so with the New year it kicked off with yet ANOTHER wedding reception to attend to. Now, don't get me wrong...I LOVE going to wedding receptions. Yep, LOVE IT! I guess you could say I'm kinda like that girl from 27 dresses who actually "likes" going to them. As for me being a bridesmaid, the count is up to four. Four dresses in a spare closet LOL. At least I caught the bouquet at the last one! Any who, so last night-- Friday, I again took the day off and went to a friend of mine-- whom I've known all through my YW years at church--wedding reception. I went with Kristy, Amber, my Aunt Carolyn, and of course baby Levi.

The reception was at the beautiful Carnegie Hotel and it's simply stunning with all the dark woods in the Ballroom with giant pillars. The Men's lounge which was right off the side door, was where the buffet was at. The whole hotel is done in the style of the titanic ballroom. Loved it! The brides family did a wonderful job because everything was lovely. The food was great. The company was terrific. And best of all...the bathrooms in which we all thought was just super LOL We all took turns going to the bathroom where each stall had its own private door and when you washed your hands, you received a towel instead of a napkin! I think we can safely say we gave the bathroom 5 stars!

Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures with the Bride & Groom! Between us three girls getting a kick out of discussing the wedding-ness of it all and slightly maybe gossiping...Ok probably that was all ME BUT we had a great time and I did mange to avoid the dreaded bouquet toss by hiding behind a large pillar--true story--.

Christmas 2008

Christmas this year turned out to be better then what I expected. I’m going to get a little personal here and admit that this Christmas was really hard for us financially. And I’ll even admit that many nights were spent crying and worrying over the fact that it just wasn’t going to be the same. But, as the days got closer and still nothing new to come our way a VERY sincere and heartfelt friend offered up the best words of comfort and direction anyone had given me. I shall never forget that phone call and she knows who she is. All I can say to her is that I will Pay it Forward.

This year by the time it was Christmas eve it was about forgetting what you looked like on camera and dancing with my cousins while being filmed. Seeing the excitement in my nephew’s eyes of preparing for Santa. Waking up and realizing you came through it and that it was ok that this Christmas wasn’t as big as we would have normally done it. Not to mention but even prevailing through with NO voice!

Christmas Decor 2008
Oh Christmas Tree...My theme every year is always the traditional ruby red and greens. With lot's of family picked ornaments. Theres even a Darth Vader ornament on there along with Scarlett and Rhett, Miss Piggy, Barbie, and pink Bears! But, don't tell Angelus..Darth got moved to the back HAHA!

My mantle is always my favorite to do. So of course it's no surprise that it matches the tree colors in ruby red berries and greenery. Along with my proud nutcrackers and sliver and gold reindeer's that are over 50 yrs. old.

My mamas coffee table she would threaten anyone who would lay a drink on it!

This is my Aunt Carolyns prized Nativity Set that means alot. It always goes in the dining room.

My kitchen theme is kinda Country Christmas with Snowman.
Don't look down Megan LOL
The color theme is also different from the rest of the house of hunter greens and dark berries with Burgundy.

Christmas Eve

Sorry not alot of pictures! To busy eating yummy food and dancing!!!
To my great last nerve, this was the best picture I could get of him standing still on Christmas Eve. He looks pretty peeved with me for taking his picture. Apparently, he had other plans on his agenda LOL Notice the Edward styled hairdo...Freakin AWESOME!

Ta-DA!!! We had just finished our rockin break dancing!

Christmas Morning! Santa came and of course had a traditional Patrick Family Christmas coke.

Every Christmas Eve for our family party we buy the Coca Cola glass bottle cokes. EVERYONE looks forward to this and even dear old Santa whose been receiving them for as long as I can remember gets at least two laid out every year! He ALWAYS leaves a Christmas card! As you can tell he prefers cokes then cookies when he stops at our house!

This is my FAVORITE picture this year. Santa was EXTREMELY good to Angelus. Now, I know that alot of you will see this picture and instantly judge because I stated earlier that this was a "humble" Christmas. Let me just say that first, it's no ones business on what we hold for our loved ones on Christmas and what Santa brings BUT let's just say that Santa is GREAT friends with Angeluses parents NOT me! Besides that note, to me this picture is just magical with the lights.

This is the end of the tour of pictures! I'm sad to announce that there are Two outrageously great videos I tried and TRIED to upload but for some unknown reason they just won't! So who knows... maybe sometime in the next few months the dancing Christmas videos will pop up and brighten your day.

2008 You Rocked!

Tonight as I have set looking at alot of other blogs the same thing keeps repeating. A bitter sweet farewell to 2008. For me, I too am feeling such a loss for this past year--- I hate saying that. 2008 holds so many moments that have meant something to me and have shaped me as a person. Sure, no year is perfect without trials and heartache. And of course there were moments when I wished 2008 would speed on by But as I was looking back these last few days, I found myself stubbornly heartbroken to say "Happy New Year".
2008 brought so many wonderful things and I will never forget them. I will carry that year with me always. So here's a look back on why I will consider 2008 as a "You Rocked" year.

1. Of Course I will start off with Twilight. Not only is it number one in my heart BUT I truly started 2008 back in January at Books A Million flipping through the pages of a shiny black book with an apple on it trying to decided if it was worth the purchase of using up my gift card. So very very little did I know just how important that 10.97 purchase would come to be apart of my life and 2008 year. LOL I even remember saying to myself walking to my car that if I didnt like it, I would just be careful with the cover binding and bring it back! To Twilight, Edward & Bella...Your love story will always be special to me. Not mention but you took up 93 % of my attention this year LOL

2. In the spring Angelus played T-Baseball and I cried at his first game. Yes...Thats right I CRIED! Lee--his Dad-- totally made fun of me for it as I was filming that important day But my nephew who is like my own is growing up and that day as we all said the pledge of allegiance and the little tike's in baseball caps and first gloves lined up to bat...my baby was among them and I realized that life moves on when your not even watching. I was so proud!

3. In June after his Pre-K graduation we left for our first family vacation in 3 years to Florida and disney world. I experienced that being in a car for 16 hours and two men--one 41 and the other 5--totally stinks...Litterally...Not to mention I fell in love with my IPOD all over again. Upon arrival I took up permanent residence by the massive pools and soaked up all the sun I could get. And then we made the day trip to the magic kingdom where I learned that the mouse in red actually has a day set aside for gay people LOL and thanking heavenly father I didnt wear red! It was the gay pride color for the day and I shall never say FABULOUS without thinking of that day.

4. The blogging block exploded this year with lots of new friends. My daily routine is getting up and going straight to my computer to peek in on your lives and I LOVE it! So many of you have brought friendships that have helped in so many ways. Your words inspire me and I feel so loved to see those who comment and care enough to see what randomness I'm into. Plus, some of my own dear friends who are most important to me started their own blogs and it too makes me just giddy knowing I can be nosy and see what you post.

5. Music. WOW! This year music has played such a HUGE part of my everyday to day minute that my soul could not survive with out it! 2008 I learned that Coldplay rules. That Jordin Sparks actually made two songs i went OCD over. Bleeding Love made me listen. Taylor Swift rocked with everysong on her CD. One Republic gave me chills. The Fray and Augustana made me think. And then finally...a band called "the MUSE" made me take notice.

6. TV. Haha! This is so funny to write but yep it's true...I'm not a TV watcher but what I did watch this year was so darn entertaining. First AI! Best season yet! The Bachelor...oooh that British dude was so hott! Jon & Kate plus eight...you just make me ache for a family of my own and a husband to boss around! One Tree Hill...you became my TV best friend! I didnt blink or miss a step every Monday night! Halle Freakin Lujah your coming back on Monday!

7. Visiting Teachers are so important and I can say I have one of the best! Not to mention but I totally got her hooked on twilight LOL But she has a testimony and a heart so kind that each visit was more then just a monthly check up...it was a friendship that kept building.

8. Breaking Dawn. Phew! So glad that wait is over and Bella freakin MARRIED EDWARD!!!! Not to mention but Ilse Esme....oh dear...now that...was some great reading!!!Take that you team Jacob playa's...sucka's!!!!!! That day, Aug. 2nd will go down in history as a hard fought battle! It took my car breaking down, losing my voucher, crying on the side of the road, august heat, and a stupid line of 250 people to get me to my copy of breaking dawn. Not to mention but having to stand in line and listen to a team Jacob girl crying hysterically behind me because she was a afraid she wouldnt get a copy...I was like...HECK NO i'm not giving you my spot fool!

9. Turning 23. I have such a hard time of realizing I'm actually over 21! When your younger or at least for me I never gave any thought to being passed 21! That night rocked again and it truly was so special to have so many friends and family there. not to mention but all the lovely birthday comments were all read and reread!

10. What could I possibly end with my number 10 spot...I bet you think it's Twilight...NOPE
my number 10 spot goes to all the friendships that have grown this year. Some people i've know for years while others just within this year but 2008 will be remembered for getting so close to so many beautiful people.

2008 I refuse to say Goodbye.
REFUSE! So I'm going to just say see you later...why that? Because the memories you hold will be revisited in my mind always.
Thank You for being a "You Rocked" year!
2009 you have BIG steps to fill. You are forewarned!

Here comes that Bride...

Oh, this news is just soOooooOooo exciting to me. For everyone who knows Carrie...Sergei Proposed! Sweetness! So here's Tierra in the car today passing the time headed toward work when she opens up her cell phone with a message from Carrie that says "Sergei proposed last night" I FLIP OUT! Why, oh Why didn't I look at my phone earlier???? I immediately hit speed dial 3 for Carrie and ask "Is it true???" And then proceed to squeal with Delight and ask for ALL details! Yes, yes, I'll get to the story but first just so you all know...Me & my family couldn't be happier with this news.

They have been dating for about 5 years now and I had just asked Sergei if he was ever going to pop that question. In which he shrugged it off and played it cool. Carrie is my little cousin by three years and she is all that embodies style, charm, intelligence, and sweetness. Totally your girl next door who goes to college to be a school teacher--which she is--I cant tell you how many times me & Carrie played bride when we were little. I'm just so happy for her!!!

As for Sergei...he's been with us for so long that he knows all the quirks, crazy aunts, and family challenges that we gladly welcome him with open arms. HaHa!

. The Story .

Sergei took Carrie up to Ohio to visit his family for the holidays. Last night-News Years Eve-They all went to Sergei's family church. He went up on stage and began to talk about all the things he was thankful for and talked about how on this trip he brought his girlfriend with him and asked her to come up on stage. Carrie had NO clue what he was doing and joined him on stage where he knelt down on one knee and pulled the ring out and asked her to marry him. She said she had no clue any of this was planned and doesn't remember saying yes but I'm pretty sure he got the answer. They have it all on video tape and I'm so excited to see it!

Congratulations Carrie & Sergei and can I just say...
IT'S ABOUT TIME!

ER Visit for ME

Dear ER,
Yep, it's us again. Visiting you for the 5429875 time! Ok, maybe slightly exaggerated but no less the number is up there. This time you had the great pleasure of hosting me. Just me. What happened this time? Well, you see apparently theres this thing called "Sebaceous Cyst" that has a MAJOR crush on me. Like MAJOR. So major in fact that it just couldn't contain it's self anymore and decided to take their crush to a new level and plant me a BIG kisserue on the side of my face. I'm so lucky. I'm the envy of every girl. I even took pictures so you could remember this visit. Aren't I nice? I mean...I was just kindly minding my own business during the Christmas season, feeling slightly left out for no kisses under the mistletoe and then WHAM! Up comes a knot so big, it's the size of a golf ball. Boy, did I sure feel extra loved. Oh, and here's the best part...if the lovely antibiotics don't work, I get to go see that really cute surgeon up on Midway and have him go on a surgery date with me. Yep, I'm all SMILES! ER, I'm so glad we got to spend sometime together. What are you doing for New Years? Oh wait a minute...I just remembered, I have plans. Oops! Sorry for getting your hopes up.
All My Love, Tierra

Christmas Flashback

I can't Believe Christmas is here! As I hurry and write this my time today is cram-packed with shopping, baking, wrapping, cleaning, getting better, cleaning, baking, wrapping, shopping Ya-da ya-da! Did you catch the getting better part? Guess who caught a cold and has NO voice...AGAIN...throughout this holiday season? Pick Me! Pick Me! Yep...you guessed it. NO VOICE...Okay...Well maybe a little one and Leah's favorite to be exact Ha-Ha! Leah loves it when I lose my voice because it becomes so high pitched. I'm so glad I can entertain people :)

So, my dear bloggers this is why there have been NO post these last few days. I simple have just given in to the sickness and retired to my bed. No phone calls. No outings. No posts. What a party pooper. Party Pooper Tierra. So today I've loaded myself up on drugs-- lot's of them--and I'm going out into the land of the living and getting in there and getting this done. So On that note I leave you with at least a Christmas Flashback picture.

As we welcome the first day of the Christmas Season, I wanted to share all that I hold dear about the meaning of Christmas. My mother was Christmas herself. If there were ever a time where my mother could live 24/7 it would be Christmas time. I reflect so much of her and even though the missing gets harder... the love just gets deeper. Memories of her seem so very far away, though sometimes closer then others….The one moment where I can envision her face and the look in her eyes so clearly is her face at Christmas time. I was standing in the doorway and the statement she made will always be in my heart.
“Santa Claus is real in the spirit of believing. The love our Savior taught stands pure in a Childs eyes with the magic of Santa Claus. A life without that belief is a life with no meaning at all.”

I believe in you mom, I believe in Santa Claus and all that he stands for and
I believe in Christmas.

A Patrick Girls ThanksGiving

As the story goes...Another Thanksgiving has come and gone. As I reflect back on this day I just can't help but be a little boastful over the fact that I have AWESOME cousins. As stated in previous post these Ladies are the Best. I had so much fun today as they each arrived and we all gathered in the kitchen and did are "thang" that we do. From left to right and also oldest to youngest it goes...Melanie, Me, Alexa, Carrie, and the best for last...the bomb.com Hailey P.

Are parents are brothers & sisters and through that it makes us the current Young Patrick family Ladies. And let me tell ya we rule the fam. The one in the middle is now known as the new MRS. A. P. Hicks and had the stupidity to move away to Georgia. Melanie is the oldest and also in my opinion the sweetest. Carrie is the brain and also the girl next door. Me--I'm the shortest and the odd ball and the most nosey. And as for Hailey...See video below :)
**A first for the blog*** and you'll see why everyone in this family from oldest uncle to the youngest baby considers her the bomb.com She ROCKS!

{Go away girls..I'm not ready for my closeup! }

{Wow we look white!}

{The famous high chair that every one would fight over when we were little to sit in. As for Carrie, she would sit at the table for at least an hour in this very chair so no other cousin would claim it!}

{When Carrie grew out of it, the torch was passed to Hailey and shes showing it off with pride!}

{Gee...Lookie lookie theres TWO! So, which one is Carrie's REAL boyfriend?}

{OoOoH My number one man stylin and chill-axin with the foe-hock!}
{Angelus's number 1 girl...Through the day Hailey would fuss about her hair and he would shyly tell her .."you have pretty hair Hailey"}

We all ate like CRAZY and started day dreaming of the famous Christmas eve family party meal! We have so many traditions in this family but the one I look forward to for thanksgiving is us in the living room eating and talking. Props and shout outs to Carrie who made her very first pumpkin pie and to Alexa for bringing her SINFULLY rich Kentucky Derby Pie! And Melanie for the VERY much needed napkins and forks LOL and to Hailey for being the host of the video below. Thanksgiving 2008 will be remembered for the great-ness of these ladies. Without them I would not know where i would be. I could elaborate more on the rest of the day but for now I'll leave it at this. So enjoy the show as my first video ever for the blog of the Patrick Family Version of MTV cribs.
PS. Now that I know how to do this...stay tuned for more videos LOL You never know what were gonna do!

Words.

When you read this it will be or have already passed thanksgiving. So on that thought I couldn’t let the moment pass on my blog to share how grateful I am for the things in my life. As I look back on this year, it will truly go down as one of the most memorable. I have so much to be Thankful for and I think to myself how did I get so lucky? When you lose someone, without given a goodbye it makes you look at things everyday ….EVERYDAY…and think to yourself “when could this be the last” You see things clearer and longer. Trying to remember every detail. I was out driving in the car earlier this week and I thought about that old saying “time heals all wounds” and if it was truly true. I answered it by saying yes and no. Yes…time heals…but missing someone just gets harder. That’s where thanksgiving comes in. Everyday should be a thanksgiving because time…. is just too bittersweet. So I’ve brought together ten things I’m thankful for. Some more thankful than others but I had to put the Tierra style to it so here goes…

#1. The Savior. As I said before this year will go down as one of the most memorable and for that I owe my very being to our Savior. He is the Savior of this world and through Heavenly Father he gave his only begotten son to bring ever lasting life. This life. And my life though it has trails and faults…It also has joy. And the debt to repay him is endless.

#2. My Aunt Carolyn. No one will ever be as lovely and have such grace as she has. Though her name will never be in any history books and her life will never know the love of a husband and children of her own…Her life’s mission will be a mother to us all and I can think of no one who deserves more then this world can offer. She is my rock. My mom number 2. My listener. My Best Friend. And for always, I will love her.

#3. Angelus. No matter what happens in this life and if I was to never have any children of my own…I will always know what it’s like to have the love of a child. Fingers touching your face and the sound of happiness coming from their voice when they see you. My nephew to me brings the pure love of Christ to my soul. When the nurse placed him in my arms 2 hours after he was born he became a part of me that I never knew was missing. The way he laughs and the way he says my name will always full-fill my purpose.

#4. Cousins. To Carrie, Hailey, Melanie, and Alexa P. First of all you girlies ROCK! My whole child hood is wrapped up in memories with you. Each of you bring something different to this family and I know that our grandparents are so proud of you. Through trials and tears were always just phone calls away. I’m so happy to have a small part in the middle with you and that part will be there forever. Oh and BTW Mrs. A. P. Hicks..we all new you’d get married first and marry a farm boy--LOL

#5.Twilight. When something so special comes along that captures you body and soul, You hold onto it. And for that I will ALWAYS hold on to it and be thankful for Twilight.

#6. Snooze Alarm Buttons. Gee…who ever invented you…I L.O.V.E. Y.O.U. XOXOXOX

#7. Friends. Everyone always says they have the best girlfriends and I too say that but I also say I have the best sisters in Christ. To my cherished, BEST ladies at church…Kristy W. Amber F. You two teach me so much in example and I always look forward to being at church with you on Sundays and any other chance I get. Thank you for being such GREAT friends. Plus not to mention but you have AWESOME ears that listen when Tierra vents. LOL As for Leah, Christy, Ariel, Jenny S, Jenny B, Jessica, Amber H, Erica, Cori, Stacy, Kirstie, Ashlee…You ladies hold me up..Did you know that? Every phone call, every email, every visit..They all count and matter. ALWAYS. XOXOXOX

#8. Blog. As I look back almost a year ago when I started this blog, I now owe SO much to it because it brings me closer to VERY important people. Thank You Ann, Heather, Megan and Monica for such a sweet friendship and sharing your lives with a little gal in Tennessee who loves to wake up everyday and see what new wonders the blogging block holds. I PROMISE to make it to Utah this coming year.

#9.Music. Without Music I WOULD NOT know how to breathe. It’s as simple as that.

#10. Glasses. Oh glasses…What can I say but I’m REALLY sorry for losing you SO many times this year. How can I make it up to do? Yes..I’ve thought about buying one of those old lady chains to connect you around my neck so I wouldn’t lose or forget about you as much but really though…. their just plain tacky! My Long Twilight Review

Twilight Review! I feel sort of lame at writing this because I’m not a writer but just for my blog I would like to go on the record of first saying…Twilight the BOOK series has made my year. I will look back in years to come and 2008 will go down as Twilight year. A year that took me on a love story that ROCKED my world. Second I would like to just say to the critics and haters and just plain people who didn’t get it….Take that SUCKERS, Twilight sucked in $37 million opening night and $ 70 million the weekend! I have seen Twilight 3 times and before this is over that number will go up for sure. A good friend Ann summed it up very nicely when she said on the phone and her blog “BRING ON THE SEASON PASS!" I loved it! I just loved it! Edward…Edward…Edward !

Favorite Parts:
*When the movie first started and Bella’s voice came on, those whole scenes sucked me back into the book. It was magical and I knew this was going to be good. Kristen Stewart was channeling Bella like No body’s business!

*When All the Cullen’s walk in for the first time and Rosalie was all “Nobody can’t touch this” attitude..Emmett with his smile and the “this is a joke” face was right on target. Alice twirling in…Oh Alice I just love you! Jasper…Gee I felt your pain but saw your love for twirling Alice and doing what you new would make her happy.
And finally Edward….Oh holy…that smile when you heard Jessica’s thoughts and what she said…DANG!

*Conversation in the biology lab when he finally talks to her…that whole conversation gave me a BIG smile and then melted my heart when he was asking her about why she came there. Then when they were walking to her locker and the fact that they won the golden onion-HAHA! Cute! Bella’s look of being dazzled by his eye color…Yep honey…we all know…DANG!

*Conversation in the lunchroom and Edward has his hand resting on top of the buffet and leans in and gives her that crooked smile when she says they need to hangout…Oh Boy…Tierra needed a fan!

*I loved the beginning meadow scene where she’s asking him the questions and the close ups and spins around their faces…I was on the EDGE…When he starts to show her what he can do and how much strength he has…the leaning up against the rock scene…Why oh why did I not bring a fan?

*The ally scene and Edward ripping the Volvo around and giving those boys the look of..“I’m going to Rip you open and drain you” Then his rugged voice and smile through the dinner. Plus that the song in the background is the song Rob is actually singing made me very happy.

*The part where she’s lies in bed and realizes she loves him and wakes up to find him outside at his car…another DANG moment. But Tierra’s favorite smile part…. he looked so sexy in those sunglasses and helps her out of the car when they arrive at school and his smile is so …“Oh yeah…I got the girl” OOoooH Man I loved that scene and the lines when he said he was going to hell

*Jumping down from her truck and casually fixes her dent and leans back against the truck…awe! SO smooth… Telling her he’s taking her to meet his family. Then Billy black just had to show up and ruin the moment.

*Meeting the family and Esmes gorgeous look. Emmett’s “Her name is Bella” like DUH!! And waving a knife in the background LOL Rosalie-- major props to Nickie Reed and bringing out Rosalie. That whole scene was another where Tierra was just grinning from ear to ear. Edwards face expressions through that whole scene….Oooh so freakin loved it!

*Baseball. WOW! It captured the scenes from the book 100% with Alice pitching her leg coming up like a ballet dancer..Totally Alice! That whole scene just captured the family and when Esme is squatting down when Carlisle is up to bat like…"My Man" LOVED it. The line where Rosalie looks at Emmett and says “My Monkey Man” LOL LOVED that line! And then Emmett’s “Babe…it’s just a game!” I loved every part of that scene and wished it was longer but it pretty much held up to the time frame in the book.

*Then came the part where my heart just twisted in pain for Edward and Bella when they have to leave each other and he leans into the car and holds her face so tender and says “you are my life now” Oh Edward….
Bella was played so well by Kristen Stewart and I truly saw the emotion in her face on being apart from Edward and answering his phone call just like from the book.

*Ballet scene. Funny thing..I Knew what was going to happen but I was still so tense and nervous in my seat.
I loved the flashbacks when Edward was trying to stop. So endearing.

****I also forgot to mention that the scene in the bedroom….Holy holy the kiss scene. To short for me but the parts of them staying up and talking and her falling asleep were so sweet. Kristen Stewart you need to just fall for Rob because it would make me happy knowing he really could be with you.

****Prom. It was so special to watch..like peeking in on a very private moment. The song that was played in the background. FAVORITE song and it fit the moment perfect! I’ve talked a lot about Edward and his smile and his DANG sexy moments but really I thought everyone did a great job. This was a tough order to fill. The lines though yes cheesy at times. But, Kristen and Rob had fantastic chemistry. No wonder poor Rob has a crush. They did a great job considering a world of girls watching them to bring Bella & Edward to life. Kristen truly became Bella for me and for that I give HUGE claps to her. That whole prom scene was just breath taking to see come to life and the way he looks at her and the emotion she felt when telling him this is what she chooses …. It's a good thing I know what happens or this wait for New Moon would be worse.

Well, I could tell you the flaws but all I kept telling myself and really preparing myself was that A. It was not going to be as good as the book. You just couldn’t touch that. B. It was a low budget film. And C. nothing is ever perfect. So I’m not going too. Twilight means too much and I’m just grateful for summit bringing it to view for my eyes and letting those emotions out there. So you can bet I’m more then ready for New Moon…Bring it ON!
