I just Have to Brag!

Today is Sunday and I wasn't planning on posting anything until I got pictures uploaded of one of my best girlfriend Leah's Baby shower I went to yesterday. But, I just HAD to brag! At church today I'm the 12-13 yr. old Sunday school substitute teacher. I pretty much teach class at least twice a month so to me there kinda "my class". I've been the sub. for that age group for almost 2 yrs. and I actually taught almost the whole of last year. Each year brings a different class w/ different amounts of kids.

First, I must say that I really LOVE doing this! I truly believe it's just as much for me to learn as well for them. And with each different set of kids come different moods and how they respond in class. This year all I have are 3 young 12 yr. boys fresh out of primary{children group from ages 3 to 11} No girls! At first I thought "oh Boy" this might be interesting cause I mean trying to get 12 yrs. old either boys or girls is difficult enough to get them to learn and answer questions in class. But, 3 Boys! Not to mention one is the son of my Bishop and another is our Stake Presidents son and the other is their best friend. To simply put it; They are a JOY to teach!

Their not rowdy at all and their all best friends! It's too cute!

Every Sunday their always talking about what they want to do w/ their life and what will happen after they serve a mission for my church! They even talk about how they want to take care of their wives someday! NO LIE!

Their so sweet and they ACTUALLY answer questions! Even more, they even look up scriptures that goes to the lesson that's not even mentioned in the lesson! I mean HOW COOL IS THIS? !!! Then to top it all, today when I got home from church and I was making some quick lunch the phone rang and I saw that it was my stake presidents home number and name! My sweet little Matthew McMurray was calling to thank me for the lesson I gave and how it went right along w/ his lesson in his Young Men Priesthood Class! I tell ya I'm on cloud nine! Nothing could have been more nicer then to have a such a rewarding class of 3 wonderful sweet little guys! If only they were 24!!! I think the next time I see myself in a relationship, he's gonna have to get past my 3 favorite 12 yr. old and take notes!

I told them I would bring my camera next week for a class photo, so be sure to check back and see pictures of the 3 coolest 12 yr. old at church!

To Daniel, Matthew, and Kenyon for being such strong, sweet guys whom I look forward to teach each Sunday that I can!And a BIG Thanks to the McMurrays, The EggBerts and Osejo's for raising such fine and outstanding young men!

MY BESTEST IS GETTIN MARRIED!

So here's the latest that's happening in my life for this week!

My very best friend in the whole world is getting married!!!!

Jenny aka Jen to me---Is such an amazing person! I wish you all could know her. We met on a church temple trip when I was 17 and she was 19! I can remember the day clearly and it's probably one of the few times I actually wrote in my journal but we were riding in the same van and sat next to one another! Now funny story goes I had NO clue that Jenny was a member of the church!!! Sounds odd I know but I had seen her a few times around church parties and such but never on Sunday! Every time I saw her she was always in this long jean skirt {Sorry Jen I'm reminding you of your old fashion don't days LOL wink} at every event I was at but again some how I manged not to see her on a Sunday! So I was thinking she must be someones friend who likes to just come to mormon parties LOL crazy I know but I thought she must be a member of one of those holieness churches or something--hence the long skirt--

So On that temple trip we sat next to one another and as they say the rest is history! We've been best friends ever since!

Now she's getting married to a friend of ours whom we 've known for years!!!

Crazy I know but In my opinion no one will ever be good enough for my best friend Jen but Justin is good to her and I've already given him my warning So now starts the INSANE process of planning a wedding and a bridal shower etc for Jen!

Last night she came over and we started on making list of lists-Of all the things to do and in what order! I'm pretty much incharge of the reception since Jen and Justin will be on there own driving back from DC Temple.

They'll be married on July 3rd w/ the reception held here on the 4th!

So heres to wedding plans and trying not to let Jen go insane!!! Oh and not spend her fathers whole life savings --HAHA!

My Valentines Day Story

After my last post I had put how I would be spending my Valentines day. I really wish I could tell you that it was really good and lovely and well…part of it was But I have created a new memory for Valentines Day…
I LOCKED MY KEYS IN THE CAR AT THE MOVIE THEATER!
Yes…that’s right folks…Yes I did! Go ME--

First, you know how you have plans for your days off when you have lots to do and how to get it done… Well apparently it was not meant to be my day! I woke up and the first thing on my agenda was to make cupcakes and decorate them.

---- If I may say so myself, I did a fabulous job!

They were so pretty but I didn’t take in how much time it would take so that put me way behind schedule. All I really wanted to do was to go get my nails painted
dark red for V-Day and show them off! That’s it! Something so small and wouldn’t have taken long at all, never got accomplished! I was so sad! I was behind schedule, needed to go take my nephew his gift. So I put on some old jeans, a hoodie and out the door I rushed to get this done! I didnt even have time to dress up!
My Poor nephew has strep throat and was so sick, he even had to miss his first Valentines day party at school!

Look at his little puffy eyes! He was so happy to get his spongebob balloon and spongebob candy I got him for his gift!
Then I drove all the way to where my Aunt was staying to take her her gift and by the time that got done, No time for nails!!!
This upset me--I never wear nail polish because A} Not accepted at work and B} They always chip and chipped nail polish looks so trashy! So I had figured that this was something I would pampered myself w/ and show off just for that day!
I finally arrived at my friends house and the plan was to go get tickets… Cause we were seeing Step Up 2 {Not as good as the first one but worth seeing} and then hurry an go get dinner then be back at the theater.
When we arrived at the movies it was packed! The ticket line was out in the streets and our movie wouldn’t be starting for 40 minutes but we knew w/ this line we might as well forget dinner and just stay inline. So I told Christy to hold our place while I went and got my coat and purse etc and locked up the car.

I opened the door, laid my keys down in the seat, put my coat on and grabbed my purse, hit the lock button and slammed the door! WITHOUT grabbing my keys!!! Oh I wanted to cry! So to make a LONG STORY shorter, we went an watched the movie then after called her sister who was on a date w/ her boyfriend who came and after 45 minutes in the cold w/ no dinner mind you…He got the door unlocked by sending a coat hanger under the window seal and unlocking the lock! Sounds kind of unbelievable I tell ya but he did and I was so grateful!
So There you have it, My new memory for Valentines Day!

Valentine's Day Favorites

Valentines Day is here an though it's not one of my Favorites I always enjoy it! This is year I happen to have the day off so me an the girlfriends {who are single LOL} are going to get dressed up and go to dinner and a movie--Step Up 2! Which I'm SOOO excited to see!

To celebrate the day here are a few of my Favorites for this Holiday!

Song: "My Valentine" words by Jim Brickman, Sung by Martina McBride

I always start listening to this song around this time! It was also my mom's favorite she played endless!

Movie: Pride & Predjudice --This is my all time Fav. movie! I can watch this one almost every day and not get tired! Take your pick, either the 6 hr. A& E or the new one with Keira Knightly and I'll watch them both!

Plus I'm a sucker for the Hallmark channel! I just love it around Valentines because all the sappy chic flick feel good movies come out the whole month!!!

This years new one called "Daniels Daughter" was my favorite. It was about a well known Magazine Editor coming back to the small town she was raised in too pay her father last wish. There she meets the town Lawyer and of course--Fall's in love! In my opinion it was def. a small budget film and sometimes sappy but ya know what, I loved it!

Memorey: I was 15 or 16 yrs. old I think an my mother and me the week before Valentines had been in a "argument"--We both had kept to oursleves most of that week but on Valentines day my mother took me to dinner at O'Charlies and then took me to the mall for shopping. Now for some this may sound kinda odd but the meaning behind this for me is that I can remember the feeling of forgiveness at dinner and the wonderful ease that came afterward of us both shopping. Whenever I enter a mall I always miss my mother there. She was always there to give her opinion on what I looked best in and so that night it meant the world to me to have my mother's love. To see her eyes at dinner when we both apologized will forever be in my heart on Valentines Day. --I love you Mom, Happy Valentines Day!

This is my very very FAVORITE pictures of my mother! She was beautiful, and I miss her more then you could understand was possible. Plus, She wearing Red--She looks stunning!

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!

10 Quirks

I just Love this Blogging world But sadly my life really isnt intersting at the moment. So I thought I would do something fun that other bloggers do and list 10 quirks about me that you might not have known.

1. First, I can be really messy when I want to be! I've said before that When I clean I can go alittle OCD about it non stop and keep everything in order for days BUT if I slow down for just one, All goes down hill and I just let it and pay for it later. Ask Christy--She WAY know's this!!

2. When I'm shopping I can go through a store for a good hour and then when I've picked out everything that I want or need and head to the check out I immediately start debating w/ myself "Well...Do I really need this?" or "I really can't afford this" and I'll put it back after I just spent an hour picking it out in the store. This really bugs me about myself!

3. I have a huge love for cleaning products! If it has a great smell, I have to buy it! It's kinda funny when you think about it, I contradict myself alittle on quirk #1! My house can be so messy but yet I'll buy all these great cleaning supplies! Right now my favorite love is the Clorex Toliet Magic Wand! Oh who ever invented this so I don't have to touch the toilet is a genius!!
Also anything orange or citrus smell, it's in my cleaning closet!

4. I also have a huge love for picture frames! Maybe even more then cleaning supplies! I just can't resist a beautitful frame! In all shapes or sixes. Right now theres this box in our "junk" room that's filled to the rim w/ pictures frames! But don't think I dont use them cause I change them around alot in each room of my house with diffrent pictures to match the frame!

5. It drives me nut's not to match! And it's drives me even more nuts when I go to church and girls in YW are going through their akward stage where they don't care what there wearing as long as it's a skirt...Oh just makes me cringe!!! When I say match I don't mean like everything has to be the same color but it has to flow or look well put together...hence Shoes need to go w/ the right color, dress, or skirt and outfit put together and everything else that brings a look to flow! Same thing goes for my house and decor...Every thing has to go by a theme w/ colors that flow. Along with Frames, candles, pillows or whatever else you use to deocor needs to match and look well put.

6. I always loose my keys or glasses every where! It really can make me upset! One minute I'll lay it down and forget and then I'll spend a good 10 to 20 minutes looking for them. I've gone through so many glass frames it's not even funny!

7. I know in previous post I said before about my love for reading but it really is more like OCD reading! My heart just smiles when I smell a bookstore and I'm usally there once a week! I can start a brand new 30-35 chpt. book and finish it "usally" in one sitting! And once I start talking about it--- I won't stop!

8. Alright Yes i'm going to admit this but I just love Princess Diana! I not a morning person but if it's an event on TV going on in London like royal weddings and such, I'll get up at 5 am just to see it! Every christmas there's always at least one brand new book on her that I have to have or video thats out I'll buy. I just think she was so beautiful and fascinating and her boys!!! Oh my--I wish someone would let me marry Prince Harry--Please???? I'll drop whatever I'm doing for anything about the Royal family on TV or book etc...

9. I collect quotes! Does that make me a nerd??? Hopefully it makes me sound poetic! But, yes it's true I have this beautiful little journal I bought that's very vintage looking and I keep all my Favorite quotes inside. Alot of them are shakespeare and others are poems while some are just out there and random about life, shoes, love, you name it it's there. I hope someday that my children can read it and see alittlepart of me that makes me happy. I always try to write alittle inscription about why I like each quote I put in there.

10. I love getting cards or wedding invitations! You know how alot of people don't look at the card or even get one they just get the gift but I ALWAYS look at the card and save them!
I also try to match the card style or color to the wrapping of the gift.
My dad and me were not very close growing up but he always sent me cards. I think maybe thats why I love them so much cause I would look forward to them but I love getting them, buying them ---I even have one of those little card organizers from Hallmark that I use on a regular bases and I love to send out Thank You cards--But they cant be just a plain card, I'm the girl that goes to Hallmark and trys to find the card thats matches you. So when it's my birthday or any holidays outside of Christmas, Send me a Card!!! I love to get them!!!

Home Alone---Who? Me?

Yes...It's true...I'm going to be all by myself for 3 whole weeks! Yikes! Well, for anyone who didnt know my Aunt Carolyn {Whom I live with} is a CNA and is currently sitting with this elderly lady. The family left today on a three week vacation {Wouldn't you kill to do that} So she will be living in with the families mother who has cancer for 3 whole weeks!

That leaves poor little me all by my self! But, I'm really ok with that...I'm a big girl and I have the promise of lot's of girlfriends to come stay with me should I get lonesome. Since my mom's passing I've sorta became a VERY homebody person. So me and my Aunt Carolyn are very close. She's pretty much mama number 2# and I going to miss her lot's not having her around but she's just 20 minutes away so I'll be fine. Actually I'm more worried about her then me! Poor thing can't really leave the house unless for grocery shopping and such so we've all promised to come for dinners a twice aweek while she's there.

On a good note, I got a purty new cell phone! Yippie Yippie !!! AS all my friends know that me and cell phones....Well we just dont have such a great bond....or track recored if you wanna call it that. My last cell phone was perfect and could do just about anything but thanks to my not so lovely ex, lost it at a park while playing basketball!
I think I still hold that againest him LOL

So if I can keep this one 6 months straight...It will be a match well made! Wink!

Re-Decorating My Room

My poor room has been through every color in the rainbow. Word to the wise--NEVER let me paint or pick out colors because in the end i'll just hated and wish for another color.

So my lovely daddy came a few months ago and finally repainted the very awful "mint green" I had picked out and this time I went for simply girlie--pink! Light pink that is and I let me dear dad pick out which shade -HEHE that was funny to watch-- So now that christmas is behind us I'm starting to redecorate my room so with pink on the walls my absolute favorite color to put with pink is black.

I'm absolutely in love with toile! Anything that toile I'll buy it! I found this beautiful toile bedding and now I need to purchase a new bookcase. Since I'm always reading I need something very sturdy yet shabby chic to decorate my room. So far I've found two from Target--you can never go wrong there--But I cant decide on the black or white?

Update on Me

Well, I thought I needed to keep everyone updated. I have NO clue who really reads my post but I like blogging. This is Fun!!
So on to an update on me.

I'm afraid it's rather boring. Nothing new going on in my life. Just work--Home-Then work some more, clean house ---that is TRY to clean house--Watch alittle American Idol, check my facebook....Yeah it's a full life LOL

But, as previous in my last post, I have been bitten by the Twilight saga!

All I can say is OOO MY! I finished the last book thats out and now I find my self going through major withdrawls and wishing that the year would just speed speed up to August when the next installment in the "Edward/Bella" love story continues. Seriously, I think I'm going a little OCD about this! I'm just so inthralled into the whole story of Edward and Bella and for any of you who are reading this and have read the series...I'm sorry.. I'm routing for Edward ALL THE WAY

I mean Jacob is a good choice too but I mean Edward is unlike any male character I've ever read and he's so old fashioned and gentalmen like yet has flaws too. I think I had a heartattck in the second book when he leaves---For what he thinks is good reason--and then in the third had another heart attack when the whole Bella/Jacob thing came into place!!

Anywho My dear best Friend Jenny is probably getting in engaged and I'm happy that she's happy. We've been a two-some practically joined at the hip for 6 yrs now and ooh the nights we've spent talking about the moment when we meet the right one. I wish her and Justin much much happieness and blessings to come! And of course, I'm the Maid of Honor--Go Me!!
As for me and my love life.....Well...If a man poped up in the form of Prince Harry, Mcdreamy type w/ alittle Edward style on the side...I would put a sign on that said "MARRY ME NOW"

BUT BUT that hasnt happend and I'll wait for my turn... Besides I'm just 22 and I'll be heading back for school in the fall so for me life needs to focus on that and what ever happens will happen.

Twilight

Oh My Goodness! Where to begin! I'm not sure if everyone knows but I am a HUGE reader! Out of all my friends I think I am the only one who could stay up starting at 10 at night and read through till 6 am the next {with a few breaks in between} I just love reading and the feeling you get when you curl up in the rocking chair at night w/ a cup of Hot Chocolate and a freshly new book makes my heart and insides smile! I love to be swept away into someone Else's story. Where they live, what they do etc and if it has a love story in it then you've just sent me to the moon! I love the classics by Jane Austen and I'm pretty much a historical kinda gal reader.

So which leads me to the book cover pictured above. Never in my life have I ever been into the whole si-fi or murder mystery and Yes...I'll say it...I've never read Harry Potter. So when I started hearing the buzz on the Book Twilight I was intrigued and when I was at the book store during Christmas I asked to see the book and if the sales girl new anything about it and the first thing she says is it a love story with Vampires.

Tierra immediately puts the book back on the shelf and says moving on! I've just never been into that sorta area at all. Couldn't stand the movies w/ vampires and ware wolves etc Hated the shows so there was NO WAY I was going to buy and read this book. No matter how romantic people proclaimed I dug my heels in and that was that. Like I said I love the classics, historical and inspiration w/ happy endings.

Last weekend I went to the new Books A Million store and was desperately searching for something to buy and use my gift card I had received during Christmas. Next thing I new I found myself looking at the book Twilight again {I'm always drawn to really cute or flashy book covers} So i thought what do I have to loose and if I hate it then it's coming back to the store. I also picked up another book that I planned on reading before Twilight which I did and reluctantly put off picking up Twilight. I finally talked to one of my best girlfriends Christy whose always into reading stuff like that and asked if she had a read it. She and her sister immediately begin on how romantic it is and that I have to read it sometime, So I told my crazy whim and that I had bought it and of course she sent me off with a pat on the hand that I was going down and would fall in love with this book. Which of course I'm thinking maybe or maybe not!

As you've pretty much figured out by now.....I FELL IN LOVE WITH TWILIGHT!

OOOO is all I can say and better yet it's written be a Mormon! Who knew! Vampire love story written by a Mormon girl LOL now that's funny! So to all my fellow members NO it's not a church story and NO the author didn't fall off the wagon and go bad and write an evil book.

To put it simply, it really is a VERY good book! If I can read it and couldn't put it down, you have to give it a try. It's also going to be turning into a movie and I'm thrilled!

This has to be one of the most sweetest, enduring, ROMANTIC, stories I've ever read!

To the fans who have read it, I hope you check out Stephenie Meyer's{author} web page and see the new release pictures of the people who are playing Edward and Bella!

So here you have it, My latest news! As they say...Happy Reading!

Christmas Time 2007

Alright...I finally got my pictures uploaded to the computer and now I can post and put a full report on Christmas.

But, There is one little thing...Sorry there's NO pic's of me. Because I was the one doing all the photos. My family just doesn't get into them so I have to be the one going around and saying "STAND STILL AND SMILE" {said very nicely I assure you} So here we go with the pictures...

This was our beautiful Christmas tree this year. I simply heart ornaments, so that's all me and Carolyn decorated with.

Christmas was such a rush this year. First the season started off w/ that blasted cold which delayed the tree going up and then came the job offer that took a few days of making my self sick of worry on what to do and then all of a sudden it was like a week till Christmas and me and my cousins still hadn't decorated Christmas cookies! So in a rush to finally do something Christmas my two younger faved cousins {who are beautiful by the way} Carrie and Hailey came over along w/ my nephew Angelus and we did Christmas Cookies and a Gingerbread Christmas Train. We ordered pizza, rocked out to the New Chipmunk CD and tryed not to kill are younger cousin Tanner who's 11 and drives us CRAZY! But, then again Santa was watching so we tryed to be good girls!

These are my cookies I did all by myself. It's Santa, wreath, tree, and when all else fails...

Do polka dots!

We then started on the WAY TO LONG PROCESS of the Gingerbread Christmas Train.

You can tell by this pic that we were taking this baby way serious!

The finished Project that took like forever!

Christmas Eve Came so Fast and I finished my shopping w/one day to go! My whole family always comes over on Christmas Eve night for a Christmas Party, So before the house was full of guest, I took these of the living room and mantle before everyone arrived.

I loved our stockings this year. From left to right it goes Mary, Aunt Carolyn, Me, Angelus, Aunt Charlotte, and Lee

These are my Lovely girlie's, Jenny & Christy. I don't know where I would be without these two!

Santa Clause Came! He even left a note for my nephew Angelus! And drank his glass coke! Patrick family tradition. We always get those mini glass cokes to drink at Christmas. It's been that way since I can remember! So of course we had to share with Santa!

I took this right before my nephew came into the living room on Christmas morning!

My perty stocking, which was filled w/ all kinds of goodies!

Lee & Mary on Christmas Morning! Aren't they cute...Mary and me were up till 3 am wrapping Lee's last minute Christmas gifts for everyone, that he REFUSED TO WRAP HIMSELF!

Christmas this year was really wonderful! I can't believe I can actually say that! I received lot's of gifts and I'm truly blessed. That night I got to go visit my grandparents who I don't get to see at all and I have the sweetest Granny.

Even though things were crazy that month and rushed and not well organized, by Christmas Eve night everything fell into place.

Job Offer, What a Decision!

Wow! So much time has elapse since I last posted anything but in truth between work, being sick and trying to get ready for the holidays all posting was put off till later! So Where to begin!
After getting better, a friend of mine called and offered me the job of a lifetime. A position as the head office manger for a small Doctors office. Your probably thinking...Wow that's great news and what an offer and it was so for my first shocker...I turned it DOWN! Yes, I know what your thinking but really and truly after LOT'S of praying and nights not knowing what to do and time spent in the Bishops office, the best thing for me right now is to let this pass. Even though money is not great at the hospital, I couldn't ask for a better place to work. With truly caring and lovely people, I love the communication we all have and stories we share and getting to walk alot and see people everyday and giving them a smile, makes me feel good. Sure some days are not so great but it was breaking my heart to leave which will have to happen sometime but this job offer simply came at the wrong time. I would be shifted into a whole new world going in at 8 in the morning and not knowing really when I would be getting off between either 6 or 7 depending on appointments and such. Having to learn all kinds of billing and insurance claims etc... Just really over whelmed me. This came directly in the middle of my first Christmas without my mom and me trying to take things over in my own way and then trying to be at a new job with new people and system would have just set my system into melt down. It already did in my decision making. I beat out alot of other women and when i made the call to the doctor to let him know my answer he couldn't have been more nicer. The job is actually still mine when I'm ready so This is my first
news that took place during Christmas season. When I made the final call I had peace in my mind and with that it made getting through the holidays alot easier.

Tuesday, November 27, 2007

Well, So much for enjoying my few days off and getting things put out for Christmas.
I have a COLD!

This is such my luck and so not fun! Early Sunday morning I wake up and my nose is slightly stuffy but I think no biggie it's early in the morning so I'll shake it off! WRONG! By Monday I was so sick I could hardly breath and "trying" to blow my nose every few minutes!

My throats sore and my nose is running ands LOTS of coughing and a fever = A Cold and one Not so happy Tierra!
This is the Week before December, the time when you get out all your Christmas stuff and Deck the halls, put Christmas lights outside and start your Christmas Shopping, wrapping, endless browsing through Wal-Mart and the Mall etc! WELL, not for me!!! I have so much to do, and my house is not so loverly or clean{with tissues used and strung all over in each room}. We at least manged to get the tree up before my untimely sickness and last night even though I'm pretty sure I had a fever, I couldn't stand not doing anything so I dragged out all our Christmas stuff but sadly today no energy to do anything except blow my nose!

So Sorry to anyone who might stop by house today for they will find a Tierra with her hair in a BIG messy bun on top her head! Glasses on, wearing a hollister T-shirt, shorts and my comfy pink robe looking like the living dead! Also my bottom lip is swollen! Why, I have no Clue! So it's a good thing Halloween is over because I good scare anyone right now!

My Wonderful Aunt Carolyn brought me some Broccoli and cheese soup {my fav} from Quiznos and I've just been laying around the house complaining that I'm dying and watching Gilmore Girls all day and then of course Oprah at 4! And now I've moved onto the computer!

So everyone this is my latest news, I have the sickness blues! I'm truly hoping to be recovered ASAP! I just can't believe that on my days off I have to spend them being sick! YUCK!

Let the Holiday Madness Begin!

Well, almost every year since I was eight, my mom and me would get up the day after Thanksgiving and go Early Bird shopping. Since my mom's passing the torch to be my new companion has been passed to my "poor" {only because she has to get up so early now} aunt Carolyn! So, we started yesterday and the dear had such the hard time keeping up w/ me! I really give her props for getting up at 5am and 62 yrs. old! What can I say, she LOVES me! And I adore her. It was sad without my mom and different but I made it the best I could!
Though our progress was not so good at the stores!

We really wanted this chair for my nephew to where he can sit playing his video games in his room and good old Wal-Mart had them on sale for $29.99! The game plan was grab one an go. The store opened up at 5 and we got there at 5:15am---only 15 minutes into the grand beginning and they were already sold out! I was so mAd, I went hunting all over that store for one and then all of a sudden I saw one! Right there left un attented in a cart and no one was around! So I ran and left Carolyn in the dust and just as I was getting ready to grab it and go, some old man popped up from behind a sales rack!

So after that, are shopping didn't really go as planned but we did have a nice time even though it was freezing and we were pooped! The main thing is how much I just love that woman! She puts up with so much from me and even gets out at 5 am just to help keep tradition alive after my mom.

It's Turkey Gobble Day!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Well, as you can all probably tell I have pictures up!
It's so nice to have a computer whiz in the family!
So when I saw that Chad was here, I made him sit down and figure how to get my net up ASAP!
Who needs the phone company's help anyway!
It took him like 3 minutes!
A new thing to be grateful for today!

Well, me and my Aunt Carolyn for the very first time got up at 4 am to do a turkey! Something my mom always did. And believe it or not it turned out pretty good!
Not bad for "First Timers"
And to beat it all it was 4 am in the morning!
I made sweet potato casserole and Broccoli casserole and "try ed" to keep everything organized.
The Family started pullin in about 12:30 and with that everything gets really hectic!
But, it was truly "loverly" to have them around.
My Cousin Alexa makes this Kentucky Derby pie and it's simply out of this world!

November News

Wow! It's been awhile since i have posted anything and the reason being is....I have no Net at my house! It's driving me crazy! I keep calling the phone company in which we have our net through and they keep reassuring me that they see nothing wrong in my service from there computer and then i want to yell because HELLO from my stand point I see NOTHING! In which the reason for my call!

So, I guess I needed to vent that but Anyway...I can only update at my cousins house and through my busy schedules makes it difficult.

November has been a very busy month with big things and Lot's to do and will just seem to get busier since Thanksgiving is in like two days! I have pictures to put up but I promise i will try to have them up after Thanksgiving!

Life is a little stressful right now, With Thanksgiving here and cleaning to do and getting the house ready! I miss my mom and would love to just sit and talk with her.

I'm actually getting in the Christmas spirit and I can't wait to decorate.
On the weekend before Christmas, one of my dearest friends will be getting married and I have been asked to sing at her wedding reception PLUS that Sunday, I'll be doing a duet in church with my best friend Jenny! So it's going to be a very "singing" weekend!

I'm looking for a new job right now, Because the hospital seems to be really decreasing my hours hence very low paychecks = NOT GOOD!

My Birthday was nice. I won't say the best but it went well and i received lots of nice gifts! But, my favorites have to be my new pea coat from the New York & Company plus my Guess purse "my baby" and matching wallet! Lot's of books, it seems everyone knows me well that i LOVE to read and then plenty of gift cards! We had a massive double Decker birthday cookie cake with of course a Tiara crown on it! My decoration colors were pink and brown and all my friends kept smacking me on the butt to make 22 slaps for my birthday! When it was time to blow out the candles i actually forgot to make a wish! I was so busy trying to blow them all out at once and keep my hair from going up in flames it just slipped me mind!
Well, I'll end for now. There's lots more news but I'll post it when i put my pictures up! Happy Reading!

Halloween

I just love that it's FALL! Everything is So Beautiful here in Tennessee and all leaves and tree's are just breathtaking! Halloween is just around the corner and I'm so excited for my favorite holiday! This year I'm going to my churches Chili cook off and I'm going to be a LadyBug! Your never to old to dress up for Halloween! My nephew Angelus is going to be a pirate and he loves to dress up in some of his costume and he goes around the house saying "ARRRG"! He's so cute!
Time has REALLY flown by and right after Halloween will be my 22nd birthday on the 5th of November! I Can't believe I'll be 22! I'm so ready and I've planned a party with friends and family and one BIG double Decker cookie cake!
It's going to be really hard without my mom this year but I'll move through this with courage and love from everyone and I know my mom will be close by. It's helps that this beautiful season is here and I've completely decorated my house and spent 80% of paychecks this month, buying more decor! Here's some pretty pictures of Decorations in my house!

Happy Halloween Everyone!
